My Fiancé and I love Halloween/Fall. We knew we wanted to get married in October and the date 10/22/22 just flows so we decided to go with it!

I’ve always wanted a fall wedding and he loves the fall just as much as I do. October is one of our favorite months and time of year so we went for October. Now choosing the date was significant for us. The numbers 10 and 15, specifically 1015 together are dear to us because of our 2 children. our firstborn’s year of his birth is 10 and our baby girl’s is 15 so 1015 and my fiancé’s brother whom he was close to that past away, his birthday was 10/15. So, we chose to get married on October 15th aka 10/15/2022 ❤️

When talking about the year, I brought up 2023 as a possibility and my Fiance stated he wanted it to be in 2022.

I have always wanted to get married in the fall. Not too hot for my guests but also not too cold for me. The beautiful fall colors are just an added bonus.

When looking at venues we picked which ones to tour based on their availability in Fall 2022. By the time we toured our venue and decided to go with them, they had gone from 4 September/October Saturday dates down to one, which is now our wedding date!

We picked the venue and saw what dates were available in our desired time range and picked from there.

I get trying to find a date that is memorable. Truth be told whatever date you choose will then be memorable by default. We chose our date based on the time of year and by what was available for the venue we wanted. We want an outdoors wedding but we didn't want it to be too hot or too cold. That meant spring or fall. Then I have a son who plays soccer in the spring. Then it became a matter of narrowing down which sat. Our venue chose that for us by it availability. Don't know if this helped...CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement!!!

I am a teacher and my FH is currently taking college classes, so we knew we wanted to have the wedding ideally back up a school break so we could easily have the honeymoon right after. That immediately narrowed it down to March, June, July, October, or December. Of those months, we decided October would be the best so we picked the Saturday at the start of my school's fall break.

So we met on November, got engaged in November…only seemed fitting that we also get married in November. I also wanted an easy date to remember, so we are 11/12/22 lol

Well our anniversary is October 20th, and next year marks 10 years together. So we picked the 22nd because the 20th was a weekday.

We wanted to get married in the spring where the weather is still beautiful outside because we are doing an outside wedding and on a Saturday so that most of our guests don’t have to take time off for work in case they need to stay overnight. So we picked our venue and asked what dates they had available and they gave us March 26th 2022 which is perfect because it gives us months to plan and save.

We picked 07/02/2023! We both love the summer, and specifically I wanted July. We’re both Jewish so with the Jewish calendar that was the best date for us! We also wanted to keep to the single digit theme (we started dating 02/06, he proposed 06/05)

Originally I had wanted to get married on 10/22/22 but our DJ was already booked that day (my fiancé works part time as a wedding DJ so we knew right away we’d use his company). I then changed the date to 11/12/22. Was obsessed with this date!! But, my brother’s girlfriend wants to get married on 11/11..even though they aren’t even engaged, I could tell she was upset. So I made the decision on my own to pick a new date. I also have a thing for even numbers and in case no one noticed, 2022 is lacking on even dates in the fall on Saturdays 🙄 BUT then I stumbled upon 11/26/22 🤍🤍 He proposed on Thanksgiving and our wedding will be the weekend after Thanksgiving!! So I finally settled! But I still need a venue 😅
*stressing out & apologize for the long story
