How Did You Decide On a Wedding Date?

We just picked a day that was in the middle of our bdays. Mine is August 1 and his is December 13. My wedding is October 15.

My fiance are 2 months and 10 days apart, and we got together on 6/26/10. So, we decided on 2/10/26 😊.


Our anniversary was also a thought lol it's Stitch Day for all my Disnerds lol (626).

I chose my date based on the number I liked and the available dates for the venue I wanted. They sent me a list of dates. I knew I wanted August so the weather would be good for the location of our venue. I chose 8.6.22 because 8 and 6 are my favorite numbers 😁

We chose our date 11/5/22 because it marks 6 years we'll have been together!!

We waited a long time to start planning because of Covid. Also, my FH is a teacher and didn't want to get married during the school year. So I looked at the calendar and picked the first Saturday after the last day of school! Hope there aren't any snow days this year

Our date is 6/25/22 which I realized is exactly 6 months after Christmas so should be easy for people (and FH) to remember!

So my fiance and I first started dating on October 1, 2013. We sooooo badly wanted to get married on that date next year, and it just so happened to be on a Saturday. But as luck (and Covid) would have it, it was already booked up at our dream venue. But, we did get it for the day before, AND we have the space until midnight, 10/01. So we'll always have double the celebration for our back-to-back anniversaries, the next best thing.

We chose our wedding fate because my Has a tradition where things always end up on the 29th so my fiance and I talked and is talked and we decided July 29th 2022 because my parents got married June 29th my great grandma got married June 29th and my birthday is the 29th and my sister's birthday is the 29th so we are choosing a different month but still the 29 It's great to have family things you can share

I’ve been keeping track of all the significant things that have happened with my fiancé, and the 25th of June was the first time he said he loved me. It’s an important date for us and also falls on a weekend.

I live in florida and chose a month that would be cooler then the summers. We originally wanted the weekend that would be around valentines day but that wasnt available so went with the weekend after. The year was chosen because my liscensing exams would be completed by then and i could focus on planning. 2/25/2023

We actually started dating August 27th of 2014, we broke up three years later. So once we got back together, we decided we wanted to have our weddibg on our orginal anniversary date to be able to incorporate it every year.

We wanted a lucky date, so we based ours on the chinese almanac. (we're chinese)
Originally FH's mom was suppose to find us a date, but she kept postponing and kept declining the dates my parents picked(since they stepped up)

So I bought the book, ensured the date we selected wouldn't clash with our parents zodiac sign and our signs.

Our date is 10-22-22! 😊
Our dating anniversary is June 22nd. We will be together 10 years the June before we get married, so 10-22 was perfect! We also liked the idea of a long engagement and love the fall weather!

We are renewing our vow, 10th year vow renewal. We got married on May 19, 2012 was our, we wanted to do it exactly around the date that we got married, but the date was not available so we decided to push it back a little.

We got married on 3/5/2021 so we wanted to have the wedding on the same day to celebrate with our family and close friends.

We had a time of year in mind and then picked the exact date based on the availability of the venue
