How did you meet your fiancé(e)?

He works for my dad's company. My brother also works for my dad's company and had been hanging out with him and bringing him around to random places we went at that time I was dating someone else who my family felt wasn't right for me and un denounced to us they were already planning on setting us up. My dad would send him into our other family owned business where I work or they would do payroll and tell me to bring the checks to the shop. In July of2017 I went on a vacation with my now ex that went horrible!!!! So horrible infect that we flew home separate planes! When I got home I was talking to my brother about needing to sell the extra country thunder ticket I had for the following weekend because obviously my ex would not be joining us and my brother said that David liked country and would probably buy the ticket. I was good with that as I knew him for about a year at this point and he would be camping that whole weekend with us. We hung out all weekend and had a blast and after that we never really left eachothers side!

We met at a beer festival through friends! We've not been married for 3 months!

I met my fiancé at Krystal’s and we started off as friends on the phone ALL the time. We didn’t start dating until 2 years later 😊

I can't recall the day I met him because we were in kindergarten together! We started dating in 8th grade and have been together for 7 years. I can't remember a time in my life where I didn't have him in it and I can't wait to marry him!

We met online, after I impulsively joined a writing forum to ask for help with a story idea I had. He was one of the first to reply to it, with a joke. I didn't appreciate his humour at the time, but I got to know him through the forum on multiple threads. I liked his style and personality: his kindness, support, helpful and friendly nature towards everyone.

I knew he lived in America, so I kept trying to talk myself out of doing anything, as I live in Ireland. After 6 weeks of doing nothing, another member posted her interest in someone else on the site, and that gave me the courage to say something publicly. He liked my post, and we started talking. We met after 8 months, and we just felt so comfortable together, like we had always known one another somehow. He was even more wonderful in real life than he was online, and I'd already said I would marry him one day. To that end, I proposed to him a week after I returned to Ireland.

We met online! We met in person 5 days after he first messaged me. It was practically love at first site we’ve been engaged since September 2018, getting married this November. He lives and works 2 hours away from me, but he just accepted a job closer so he can finally move in.

We met at a bar during one of their special event nights. I was having a girls night and saw him walk in with his friend. One of my brave friends approached him for me and the rest is history! We hit it off and exchanged numbers. #justsaidyes

We met in college. We had the same major, which meant a lot of the same classes, and a similar circle of friends.

I met my fiancé on Instagram!


My cousin‘s husband and my fiancé were friends since childhood. My fiancé just came back to our hometown. He was reconnecting with my cousin’s husband who sent him my Instagram page and said he had to meet me that I would be a great person for him to know. We dm for a bit, met, and have been together ever since.

My FH and I officially met on tinder as well. We were actually both on the rugby team, and had been to the same social events, but just never met. All of my friends and teammates knew him already!!

We met at work, Panda Express. I was in the front and he was in the kitchen. We often had the same shifts, he would aways flirt and I was told by several co-workers that he liked me.

Me and my fiancé actually met through my ex, they were in the Air Force together and once me and my ex broke up, I didn’t see my now fiancé For Almost 5 years, then one day I wanted to see how he was doing and the rest is history.

We met on a plane! He sat next to me in the terminal first despite there being plenty of other seats lol He sat close enough for me to see his ticket and that we’d be spending the next 6 hours as seat buddies 🤦🏽‍♀️ I tried to get my headphones in as I approached my seat, but he got to me before I could and the rest is history. Needless to say our other seat buddy was pretty confused when he woke up; he fell asleep next to two complete strangers and woke up next to us basically sitting on top of each other 🤣

This is a funny story. Mike and I met online and talked and texted over the phone for a month before we actually met in person. We are both originally from New Jersey but now live in South Carolina. We met for the first time when we both evacuated (separately) to Florida for a hurricane.

Long story short: We met at a bar/country dance club. My best friend walked up to a random (very attractive) guy and asked him to dance with me. When we met, I knew from that moment he was the one I was going to marry. He was an excellent dancer with soft hands, a kind smile, and sweet voice. And I embarrassed the crap out of myself “you have really nice teeth” his face 😅😬 “thanks....” (I was dental assisting when we met so it wasn’t was weird as it sounded) but he’s marrying me so it must not have been that weird a first meeting!!

We met in an intro to film class at college! He sat right behind me and we did a group project together! (which is the only good thing to come out of a group project ever haha!)

We are eternally the subject of jokes about this... we met at a funeralb🤦🏼‍♀️

At a bookstore

We met at our friend's house. A mutual friend wanted to start a new cover band with me singing and my now-fiance' playing the drums. I was immediately smitten, got up the courage to ask him out a couple of weeks later, and we've been together ever since!
