How did you meet your future spouse?

We met at the fire company we volunteer at. He helped me through fire school and we spent a lot of time training together. The more time we spent together, the closer we became and ended up giving dating a shot. So now here we are 4 years later and engaged.

We were set up.

I had rehearsal between two of his shows one day. The director of his show/ producer of mine asked him to let my show into the theatre.

He was wearing a Phillies shirt outside a NYC theatre. The first words out of my mouth, "you're a Phillies fan, too? The Marlins are killing us right now!"

We started talking baseball and no one else could get a word in edgewise. That's when I found out he was 6 years younger - he didn't remember something I did.

Messaged my dad and best friend, after, "I just met the perfect guy, but there's a catch."
BFF: "He's gay?"
Me: "no"
BFF: "he's taken?"
Me: "no"
BFF: "then what the hell?"
Me: "he's 22" (I had just turned 29)
BFF: "THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM"

She was right.

We met on a party bus going to see a snoop dog show hahahahahahahaha didn’t actually talk until we were severely inebriated.. another girl on the bus had essentially fallen out of the bus when it was dropping us off and couldn’t get up out of the whole bus I was the only one trying to help her, he came over and helped me get her home.

I just moved to Phoenix and transferred into Cesar Chavez HS. It was my sophomore year when I first noticed him, but I was to shy to say anything. A year goes by and walking out of gym class he stops me and says “Where’s that beautiful smile I see everyday.” .. from that moment forward we always flirted and talked before English class together. Christmas break 2012, he finds me on Facebook and since that day we messaged all day everyday no gaps. We got back to school New Year 2013 and 2-3 weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend. Since that day, we have been in love and falling more in love each day! He is my high school sweetheart, my forever ❤️.

My fiancé and I met online, our first date we went for sushi and a movie and then spent 3 hours in my car just talking. We really connected. 2 dates later we were together, and have been for going on 5 years. It's cool because his family actually lived a block over from where I lived as a little girl (we moved out of state when I was 3 and back when I was 17). His father and my grandma also grew up together and played on the same street as kids.

We first met freshman year of college back in 2009 in our freshman dorm lobby. He kept trying to convince me his name was "Alex" even though I heard someone call by his actual name like a dork. After that we just ended up hanging out in the same group and went from there.

At work, his company delivered medical supplies to the hospital i worked for. He flirted with me for years but i never gave in. It took 5 years before i let him come out of the friend zone..LOL

We met at the mall when we were 16!

Him and his friends kept following us around from store to store and the moment I saw him I fell head over heels!

We met on the oh so lovely Tinder app! We both had recently got on and decided to give it a shot. After talking for about a week, we decided to meet and go for a hike. On the way to the meetup, I decided it probably wasn’t the smart thing to go on a hike with a stranger thirty minutes away so we went to a brewery and got to know each other. It was amazing.

We met in middle school. I sat in the front of class and he sat in the same row in the back. He used to pass me notes in class. I guess, one day he was day dreaming because the teacher called him to his desk. My fiance told me the teacher told him to focus on school and not my back side. Haha!

We met when I was in high school and he was out of college lol. We were just friends for many years. I went through a bad divorce and he was always there for me. Through the good times when I was married and through the bad times. Then he was always around for my son from my first marriage. We just grew closer and when I saw how much he loved my son and I something clicked and now I get to marry my best friend literally

I met my future husband my freshman year of high school and we’ve been together ever since. Our friends introduced us at a school dance, and to this day I believe it was love at first sight.

We worked together at Girl Scout Camp and ended up in the same unit most of the summer. Then I got stranded at her school for a week when Hurricane Irene wiped out/ damaged all the bridges leading home. We became really close friends during that but didnt start dating for another year when I finally admitted that I liked her too (after she slipped and I caught her and we accidentally kissed)

We met in high school in , we are high school sweethearts. The first time he noticed me was towards the end of the school year, during a spirit week on a wacky tacky day. I looked a mess, but that was the day, 7 months into the school year, to notice we had chemistry class together the whole time... I was not interested in dating anyone at the time, so i gave him the ring around. He asked me out, but I told him I don't date people who don't talk to my best friend. So the next day he sat next to my best friend on the bus (they lived close together, and shared the same school bus) and he just started talking to her. She freaked out at first, messaging me the whole time. He surprises me all the time since then, he does everything just to make me smile.

Online! He had just moved here from another state and was truly just looking to meet some new people. I was looking for a relationship and, luckily, after our first date, he wanted to pursue a relationship as well!

We met our freshman year of high school and instantly clicked! At first he didn't want to ask me out because he didn't think high school relationships lasted, but sophomore year he caved! Now, almost six years later, with four of those years being long distance, here we are!
