No so unfortunately I didn’t get his number that night but a couple weeks after that we saw each other again at a party and I told myself alright you can do this. So I just walked right up to him and said hey you forgot to get this last time when we met and I handed him my number and we went on our first date and went a saw Christmas lights in lacrosse and that’s where he asked me to marry him two years later

We met at college! His family is actually from Indiana (I'm a GA Peach), and he moved down to GA for school in Savannah. After a year of being there, he moved again into the town we met, and his family actually moved down as well!
We met at a picnic at the school and his best friend was actually my "buddy", or the person in charge of helping me out my first year at school. We started hanging out more and more, and at first it was totally platonic! Then feelings blossomed, and the rest is history. We will be have met 5 years ago in August, together as a couple 4 years now in July, and our wedding will fall shortly after our 5 year anniversary. ❤

We met through mutual friends, and got to know each other when a close friend of his started dating a close friend of mine, so we ended up hanging out A LOT, and things blossomed from there!

We met online POF (Plenty of Fish.com) Best decision ever!! Dated for 2 years before we got engaged, 2 years engagement, getting married 12/12/20!

favorite momentsHow did you meet your future spouse? 1

My FH and i met on the online dating site Plenty of Fish (POF) while i was bed ridden for 2 weeks for sciatica, our first date was my 1st time out of bed after being stuck in bed because of my back. We went to Olive Garden for our 1st date, it was perfect, other than the fact that i was in terrible pain, but we clicked right away talked for 3 hours about our favorites. After that everything was perfect.

On August 4th 2018, Tom took Courtney to Starved Rock and at French Canyon he got down on one knee and proposed.

Our favorite hobbies together are; playing with their dog Princess Leia, netflix, hulu, movies, tv, going shooting, traveling, visiting wineries, distilleries, and breweries, and of course trips to Costco and going to movies for $5 tuesday every tuesday night.

We have traveled all over together. In our first summer together i took Tom to visit her alma mater to meet my best friends and sorority sisters around central IL. That same summer we went on our first major adventure together to Nashville, Memphis, and Gatlinburg Tennessee. Since then they've gone on camping trips and vacations to Michigan and Wisconsin. In February 2018 they experienced cruising for the first time on Royal Carribean's Oasis of the Seas which was the best experience ever. That was all before our 2nd anniversary, March 7th, we will have been together for 3 years, best years of my life!

best day everHow did you meet your future spouse? 2

We met at work, I was already there for two years when he was hired in and as soon as I saw him I thought he was really cute and had a crush on him but never said anything. He was just getting out of a relationship, I was doing my own thing but the crush I had on him never went away. We worked together for three years before it came out at a Halloween party when I had too much to drink. After that night we started dating and have been together for over two years now. I always tease him about it taking him three years to notice I liked him.

On our wedding day we will be together for three and a half years but known each other over six years.

I was going through a divorce from an 8 year abusive marriage... things were tough and I had to find a better job to start my career and begin the steps toward becoming an RN.. so I started work at a nursing home in my hometown. First time I ever met him he was “The new Boss aka Administrator” at the nursing home that I was employed at at the time as I was working there as a Hospitality Aide while I was going to class to become a CNA. He had to meet me because the nursing home I was working for was sponsoring me for my classes. After that we had one conversation outside on break about square school pizza (haha). I was seriously intimidated by him even though he was a super nice guy I was terrified of him just because of his title. I got my CNA license and finally my divorce in July 2017 and ended up quitting the Nursing home in October 2017. Fast forward March 2018 I was in the mountains with my kids and my best friend and her son and we decided to download the tinder app. We were just having some fun, drinking wine on the balcony and swiping through and I matched with this guy. I seriously had no idea who he was, it just didn’t click until he messaged me and started chatting and we figured it all out. I was a mess when he asked me out for dinner and drinks. We went out on March 17, 2018 and have been inseparable since. He asked me to marry him January 1, 2019 at midnight! I can not wait to be his wife!

My FH and I worked for the same company but never at the same location. He was actually married before, so I never even thought about him in any other way. My best friend worked at his location and slowly over time he and I developed a friendship. Then as fate would have it, him and his ex-wife wanted different things out of life and decided to go their own ways. Next thing I knew he and I were having lunch dates and then we were dating. Now almost 6 years later, we are still going strong. I was so afraid that I was just a rebound, but we make each other better. I'd be lost without him and vice/versa. Everyday is a new adventure and he continuously makes me laugh, I take care of him and he does the same for me.

We’ve been unofficially engaged since late November. We decided to move forward with getting married just before my birthday (on Thanksgiving this past year), but he was nervous about picking out a ring (and I’d much rather have something I know I love than a surprise that wasn’t my style), so we decided to pick one out together. I was browsing padparadscha sapphires online and the perfect one was still on a Black Friday sale a few days later, I hesitantly showed him over breakfast, and he bought it at the breakfast table. I fell in love with the Anani from Ken and Dana, but when we got the sapphire they were just about to leave for their holiday vacation, so he just sent in the stone last week and put the first payment on the ring yesterday! We’ve only announced our engagement to close friends and family because I don’t want to field a billion questions about where the ring is, but I’ve been wearing my claddagh and we’ve been wedding planning (booked our venue this weekend!). So we’ve been unofficially engaged since just before thanksgiving but will be *officially* engaged within a few weeks. It’s hard to explain that we’re doing things kind of backwards, but it works for us.

We met at one of my sorority sister's birthday parties. He was her boyfriend's best friend. He was watching me all night, so eventually, I just went up and said "Are you going to stare at me all night or are you gonna say something?" He introduced himself, and we talked for a while. When I went to leave, he ran after me and kissed me. Since then, it's been happily ever after. Smiley heart We were together a year and a month before getting engaged.

In August of 2005 at 18 years old, I went away to College as many eighteen-year-olds Do...

some pretty serious roommate issues Rose and I no longer wanted to stay in my dorm room Admissions didn't give two craps situation, but I had Italian for someone who I guess was lonely and we talked a lot so she knew about my problems. Her parents had bought her house so that she didn't have to live on campus and she was supposed to be renting out the roomS, but she said that I could just move in there and stay there for free and we cOmmuted to class every day and I cooked us breakfast and dinner and did the laundry for the household and pretty much took care of the house and Rachel pretty much laid in her bed and the other people worked. one day when we had a room available that we weren't trying to rent cuz we didn't want to her parents surprise visited us from Connecticut so I guess she talked to them about my situation but they wanted to know why the other room was empty they said it was fine that I stayed there. It was Simon and midnight's room lol, her dog and cat
Anyway her Mom told us, that they were getting lots of calls about the room and that she was going to rent it to this guy from New Jersey who she knew and was a really nice guy who work really hard but works third shift so we had to not be jerks and let him sleep during the day. he moved in and he was just a nice guy guessing something about him Drew me from the second I met him

when you first moved in he was dating someone but their long-distance relationship fizzled quickly within a few months after they broke up we were dating but he was my best friend probably from the few days after he moved in

Tinder, after so many dating apps and being on so many dates, it was good old Tinder. Although we didn’t have the best smooth sailing dating story, things worked out in the end. We dated on and off and we weren’t sure about each other, but now we totally are!
