How did you meet

We met actually on Facebook dating when that was a thing 😅. We lost touch after our first date and he moved states for school. We then got back in touch and been together ever since. Now we have an 18 month old daughter and are more than excited for our future.

We met when I was 8 years old and he was 12. His family moved in 2 doors down from my grandmother in a small town. He quickly became one of my brother’s best friends and that’s where it all started. My brother and I actually moved a couple of states away and although my brother and my fiancé stayed friends, they weren’t as close. We lived our own, separate lives and would ask about each other every couple of years through mutual friends. After many years, I was getting out of a bad and toxic relationship and he was recently divorced so we decided to hang out and help each other through our hard times. It escalated from there and I couldn’t be happier! It may have taken us 20 years to actually start dating but now we’ve been together for almost 3 years and engaged for 2 months. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our forevers together!

We met at our local Harley Davidson Dealership when we were taking our cycle safety course to get our endorsements.
Near the end of the week of the class he decided to sit in MY seat that I’ve been at all week. I made a joke at him and he responded back comically. We then couldn’t stop talking(even had a friend of mine teaching the class make a quick comment at us giggling).

A couple days after the course was done I thought I would never talk or see him again. He found me on Facebook to invite me to ride with him and the rest is history! ❤️🥰

We knew each other from high school but he was 3 years older then me. We didn't hang out until I was in my senior year and he was already out of school working. We lost contact once I went to college and he went to a tech school. I graduated in 2008. I went thru college even engaged to someone else. His name never crossed my mind. It wasn't until 2019 in the middle of a breakup that his name came up as friends I may know on Facebook. I could not believe it. I messaged him instantly to see how he was and where life had taken him. We instantly came right back to how we were as kids. He invited me to go to his sisters which so happened to be his Bday! It felt like this was meant to be. My boyfriend and I were just not on the same page and I decided to end it before there was any resentment and we still are very much cordial and friends today.

Me and Nestor began to hang out more and he would bring me around and I would bring him around my family. It was just so natural. TBH we aren't engaged yet . We decided since we were both divorced that we do things differently and instead of doing the normal timeline, we decided to have a baby instead. lol He was 34 at the time and no kids and I had my son from the previous marriage. We had our baby Caleb and it was the best experience for the both of us. We then chose to save money and buy a home. We closed this year in June and now our loving our home. Now with those two major events out of the way we both decided that engagement would be the next step and that we could marry when we feel like we have saved enough for our dream wedding! Here we are taking on life and have been together for only 2 years and 2 months but it feels like more then that.

Denis and I met on a dating site. When I discovered that a guy I liked a lot was flirting with a younger girl, I decided to give a dating site another chance. I sent a few messages to other guys, and that was when I saw Denis. I sent him a message after seeing his profile picture and think he looks handsome and sweet. He replied and we talked for almost a month. He finally asked me on a date. We met in person at the church, ate lunch at On the Border, then went to an art museum. During our meal at On the Border, Denis had to go to the bathroom. Our waitress approached me while he was gone and asked if we were on our first date. When I told her yes, she said, "Girl, he's cute! Good luck!" while giving me a thumbs-up. I glanced back to see if Denis hadn't heard the whole thing! While I blushed, I was flattered. I wasn't attached to him in the beginning, but I thought he was cute.

I think Denis fell in love with me at first and I was hesitant because I've had my heart broken so many times. Having had bad past experiences with men, I had a hard time believing that a man could love me, but Denis proved that he does. He's one of the most extraordinary men I've ever met in my life. Cooking is his passion and he's really good at it. He's so patient and generous. Did I mention he is a lot of fun? I love being around him, he's always up for adventures. For the first time, I felt such peace. He did not waste my time and set up dates with me. He always kept in touch and he wasn't hot or cold. I learned this man was serious about me based on the results. I fell in love with him a couple of months later. To know such an amazing man makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world!

Last Tuesday, which was my 30th birthday, we got engaged. It was such a surprise! After writing the card he gave me that day, he decided he didn't want to wait any longer and wanted us to get married. I said yes! It's been almost a year since we met. We're planning to get married in Spring 2023. Although some may think we're rushing, we've discussed our wants and needs so much that we've realized we're perfect for each other. Once I fell in love with Denis, I threw my dating timeline out the window. When you know, you know!

We met on Match.com.! After a six year relationship that went nowhere I was left completely destroyed. I
was determined to live my life alone and even started looking to move abroad. My cousin started a match profile for me, and was scheming behind the scenes LOL!! Once I found out I decided that I want to handle my own profile and start going on dates. My fiancé was my second date. We continued to see each other for a few months, then my father became sick. I told him that I couldn’t be with anyone right and that he should move on. Sadly, my father passed away and Evan showed up to the wake. I didn’t think I would ever see him again but he came to support me. I was so surprised and grateful. This inspired me to give the relationship a shot and not to be afraid. We met on OurTime. We chatted through that website for almost a month. I wasn't very keen on meeting a stranger - the whole horror movie scenarios kept running through my head. Plus, after being off the dating market for 30 years ....... it's pretty intimidating. BUT .... I am a sucker for convertibles, and that's how he got me to meet him - by offering me a ride in his gorgeous Camaro convertible. It wasn't love at first sight, but there was definitely a simmer going. We broke it off a couple of times for various reasons, but I never could shake off how I felt about him. 4 years later he proposed, and finally we'll be married 4 years later in May 2023!!

My love and I met on like a spiritual love at first sight DESTINY. We met on a dating app called Hinge before it became another app for hookups. Now the spiritual and destiny happened because around the time I met him, he was at a family home at a funeral for his mother. Something very unexpected! The reason why it was destiny is because he told me that his father is a Capricorn and his late mother was a Pisces - and they been married ever since. He always tell me that his mom sent me his way to be something good in his life and I stuck with him. The first sight or first chat. I felt such an electric experience with him that crushing on someone wasn't in my vocabulary. I felt something more with him and he did too! After that the rest was history. I can't wait to marry my destiny angel and take his last name.

My fiancé and I met online and here we are just over 4 year later and engaged🥰. We ended up finding out we went to the same high school and that he graduated with one of my older sisters haha. We met actually though his brother who happened to be one of my good friends. He was getting married and I had been invited to the ceremony and David offered to put me up for the weekend I was staying out of town. We ended up hitting it off while I was there and the day I had to leave he made the first move and kissed me. We non stopped texted and FaceTimed and I asked him out on April fools while we were up all night talking on the phone.

Ok, so I was in a hurry to get to an audition (I'm an actress) and was quickly grabbing coffee because I was exhausted. Then, this careless buffoon slammed into me, spilling his very hot coffee all over me. On my face, in my hair, on my clothes. I yelled at him and left quickly. Then, I went to my audition, makeup wiped off, frizzy coffee hair, stained clothes and my script was wet.

Needless to say, I did not land the role and for too many years, I remembered the coffee guy who ruined my audition and my favorite scarf. Then I found another role, landed it, all was well until I figured out that I had to work with coffee guy.

I recognized him immediately and then he actually turned out to be nice when he wasn't turning the set's thermostat to 77 degrees. Then we started dating and got engaged a few months ago. It was not exactly a "meet cute", but we met.
