How do i include everyone?

Nikki, on October 6, 2019 at 3:33 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 11
I'm planning on having five bride's maids. However, there are other people in my life who I would like to play an important role on the big day.
What are some other roles my friends and family can be in to make them feel as valued as they are? Any suggestions?
Thank you!

    Some ideas:

    read during the ceremony
    guest book attendant
    receive gifts
    welcome guests
    ushers
clean up and/or set up crew

Oh! I hadn't thought about ushers or having one of them do the welcome. Those are great thoughts. Thanks!

I am having my aunt say a blessing at the beginning of the ceremony and my sister do a reading! I also invited some very close family members to get ready with my bridesmaids and I.

Ushers, readings, have some people walk in the processional. My brother and his wife weren't bridesmaids and groomsmen but they still walked in our processional before my parents as my way of acknowledging them

You can have them do a speech or toast, but I really wouldn't worry too much about this. You don't really want your family "working" during the wedding so they can also enjoy it themselves.

    This is what I have:

my 4th youngest sister (15 years old) holding a sign saying "Not Yet"

my 3rd youngest sister (11 years old) holding a sign saying "Almost"

my second youngest sister (9 years old) holding a sign saying "Here Comes The Love Of Your Life"

my youngest sister (5 years old) as my flower girl and my bearded dragon (Pancakes) will be in the flower girl basket. She's tiny so she'll fit. She's very docile and means so much to me, she's like my little baby.

they will all walk down the isle in the order listed above. The oldest of my younger sisters (23 years old) will be my Maid of Honor.

I have a very close friend who offered to be my Matron of Honor.

I'm having my mom and dad walk me down the isle.

My grandpa is our pastor and will marry us.

I have one of my two cousins being the announcer of everything like our first dance, the cake cutting, father daughter dance, etc.

My fiance's aunt and cousin who I am very close to are my bridesmaids and I have a friend of over 10 years as a bridesmaid. (3 bridesmaids all together and a maid & matron of honor)

That's true. Instead of having the maid of honor or best man do a speech, I could have one of the other's do it.

I don't have a director yet. That's something I could do. There are so many moving pieces!
