How do i keep my wedding affordable?

Im a college student and had budget of 10k. I live in Southern California an hour south or LA. I really wanted a dreamy outdoor grassy wedding, with a modern reception. Theres lots of options if you have money. I found a place that does everything for me (wedgewood weddings, university club) which seems like itll save me loads of money, and my lose estimate was 12k. I got their quote which was 18k before deposits... I can't find airbnbs with large backyards, nor anything with green grass for cheaper than this place... But it still seems ridiculously pricy for me, when I have city parks everywhere. How do I diy/ cut the bill?

I’m having a wedding without having to compromise on decor, food, drinks & etc, for around 12k, in a pricey wedding area. The key: only 60 guests. It’s definitely a way to cut down on cost. You’ll be looking at a lot of DIY if not, but I hope you’re able to find a great venue on a budget! I think that’s the hardest part.

You can go to the state parks there and it's a lot cheaper

No idea what it would cost, but have you looked at the Grand Tradition in Fallbrook? My senior prom was there ages ago, and my cousin got married there. Beautiful lawn with a pond.
