How do i live stream a wedding?

Rebecca, on February 11, 2021 at 12:32 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 10

My fiance and I were originally planning to have the wedding on the 21st. Luckily we hadn't put any money down, but it's still sad the date is passing by. We picked our location and neither of them has wifi, and one is a park without power. I want to be able to stream the wedding when it's time for distant relatives and people I couldn't afford to invite. Any recommendations? I don't mind it going on youtube, and maybe hiring someone.

I'm in the works of booking my vendor for livestreaming. They said if hard wire internet or wifi isn't available, they can provide a hot spot at an additional cost to stream live. I would find a vendor who could offer this specific service.

We'll be using Lovecast. You can use the internet service from your phone to stream the wedding.

One of the virtual weddings we "attended" last year did it through Facebook Live. They gave their photographer the bride's phone for the livestream and the photographer set up her phone and she used her phone data to stream it. The only problem doing that is if you have members of your family who don't have Facebook.

How was the audio from the wedding, and how close was the phone?

The audio was honestly perfect. We were able to hear everything through the ceremony. She also live streamed her speeches and we heard those perfectly. They set the phone up on the groom's side, next to the second row of chairs. The photographer had a helper who moved the phone during people walking down the aisle and then they left it stationary during the actual ceremony. So we got to see mostly everything. The photographer's helper also walked us through the venue so we could see the reception set up. So it worked out fairly well for them.
