How do I make water pearls float and/or stay in the middle of the water??

I am trying to make centerpieces and need advice on how to keep the pearls floating on top of the water and how to stay in the middle of the water..I don't want them to sink!

    Id string them on thin wire and coil them. I do not think they are naturally a buoyant item. :-/ Sorry, that's the best help I can offer.

    If you buy water beads (I think thats what they are called) it turns into a gel like substance that looks like water. You can then insert the pearls. Good luck!

    Water beads! You can get them at michaels or online on amazon. You have to put them in the vase with water and then they expand. They're awesome I'm having floating pearls with some floating candles on top behind our ceremony space!

    Thank you! after googling for a looong time I JUST found that out. I ordered some water beads from amazon but I am still confused of the difference of water pearls and water beads. they seem like the same thing to me. I ordered water pearls yesterday but now looking at them, they seem way too clear. I like the solid color ones.

    This is the way the clear looks.. I discovered a little extra water and you can't see the beads at all. I also ordered purple ones and I didn't like how those looked at all.. Sticking with the clear!

    Does anyone know if the pearls have holes in them will they still float like the above picture?

    U can buy the gel stuff that u boil and when it's almost cool place them but it can get messy
