How do uneven sides walk down the aisle

CountryBride, on July 31, 2021 at 2:32 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4

I have 7 Bridesmaids. 1 jr brides maid and 2 flower girls

he has 5 Groomsmen 1 jr groomsmen and 2 ring bearers

he doesn't want to ask anyone else to be a groomsman, We are having the groomsmen walk down with the bridesmaids, would it be weird to have the 2 extra bridesmaids walk down with each other?

You could have the two extra bridesmaids walk together or you could have two groomsmen walk with two bridesmaids or you could have two bridesmaids (MOH, perhaps) walk on their own. It's all up to you

As a guest and a bridesmaid, I have never seen the groomsmen walk down the aisle with the bridesmaids during the processional. They exit together but often the groom enters from the side front with groomsmen behind him.

As for the recessional, you will have at least one groomsman escort two bridesmaids out or two groomsmen escort one bridesmaid.

We had an uneven number as well so we had one groomsman escort 2 bridesmaids during the recessional. I’ve also been at a wedding where there was one bridesmaid being escorted by 2 groomsmen. It was weird at all and was actually kind of fun seeing a different type of “pairing”.
