How do you wear your rings?

Elizabeth, I read your comment in the Dos Equis commercial voice. Hahaha

This is also one of the reasons you don't have your e-ring on your left hand during the ceremony

My question is, why do I sometimes see pics of people with their rings on their right hands?

I have band, e ring and band

I will wear my engagement ring first and then my wedding band but only because of the way my band is shaped

I'm going to leave them in the order they were received.

I always wore (previously married) my band on the inside

In addition to the "closest to your heart" sentiment, I've always been told that when you receive your band, you never take it off again (figuratively), so the ering would go back on after the band has been placed.

Always heard the closest to your heart sentiment also. That's what I will do.

I love all the input, especially the ladies who have/are getting a second band.

I'm going to start looking for one for after baby #2 is born this summer!

Mine is a wrap so I'm unsure of what to tell you. My engagement ring sis in my band. Now if I had it separate I would do wedding ring first because I always heard closer to the heart

I wear my band first, then my e-ring on the outside, also because I was told what you were told about how the band is supposed to be closest to your heart.

Occasionally, I give my left hand a break (if my finger swells or I just want to let it breathe), so I switch my rings over to my right hand. When this happens, my e-ring ends up on the inside and my band ends up on the outside.

@E&E2017- In some countries in Europe it's very common to wear both rings on your right hand. Also, anyone married in an Orthodox church will tend to wear them on the right, because they are placed on your right hand in the ceremony (the right hand is a place of honor, and it is with the right hand that Christ blesses. The left hand thing is linked to an Egyptian superstition.)

I've seen some people wear three rings, is there a meaning or reason why?

Won't have to worry about that, I got both sides covered

Who cares? Wear it how you like it. That's how I feel about it. But mines will be on first for aesthetic reasons

I've got two bands. So engagement ring won't get lonely lol

@furturemrs, I love your bands! I have a similar erin, solitaire with the white gold, except I have a sapphire. I have tried on a few single bands but I just dont like the look of it so I am thinking of doing a band like youra where it covers both sides! Love yours, its gorgeous!

Wedding band first. It Never. Comes off my finger . But engagement ring does stay off for work and such so makes sense to put it on second for easy removal
