How early before your wedding did you book your honeymoon?

We are going to Sandals Halcyon in Saint Lucia and it's $400 down to reserve that room and dates, but it's refundable up until 31 days before honeymoon and if they have a better price down the road, we get to pay that price. You really can't go wrong with that. Our flights we can't book until 15 months out I think? (our wedding is 10/10/15 and HM is 10/11/15) but we could still hold/reserve our resort!

Hello Kristin, I hate to say this, but if you are interested in saving money, You should wait to book that honeymoon to Sandals. This is because they offer an air credit when you book your flight in conjunction with your room. Not to mention you would be missing out on some other special deals by going through a travel specialist that knows the Sandals brand. There are actually 3 Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, and Halcyon is the smallest, but it is not for everyone.
