I would do 6pm it’s late enough where not many people would have to take off work since it’s a Friday

I’m having mines on a weekday and it will start around 1130. Fortunately, all of our guests are either retired, or have jobs where they can take off easily.

I think you should do 4 or 5 it gives people a little time to get ready but it’s not super late. It also depends on what kind of guests you have. Do you have a lot of children? Are you ok with them leaving early if your wedding is later? Are you having Mainly adults that like to party all night?

We're doing 5:30 in June. So kids should be out of school along with my teacher friends. That gives about 30 minutes or less probably for ceremony, cocktail hour, and then a 4 hour reception. I believe we have our space until 11:30.

I think it depends if the majority of your guests are local or out of town! If most of your guests are coming from out of town I would say 5:00pm. However if many are local and planning to work you might want to do it later. For example, I work at school and get out earlier than most (2:45pm) by the time I got home and got myself wedding ready it would be 4:30pm!

I'm having a Friday wedding. We are doing our ceremony at 5, cocktail hour 5:30 to 6:30, dinner/dancing 6:30-10:30 I believe. I don't care if everyone makes the ceremony. Less people looking at me haha!
