How far in advance did you start planning your wedding?

Got engaged 11/20/2010 starting researching right away. Started visiting venue early this year. So just short of 2 years for me

We will have been engaged 19 months before our wedding. I started planning the week after he proposed. Found my venue that next month. I am right on target for everything that needs to be done. For someone who doesnt have a planner, and I've never helped plan a wedding myself, I'm doing an awesome job!!

We got engaged on 2nd Aug 2011 and wedding is booked for 4th April 2012...8 months to plan

We got engaged on 04-01-2011 and wedding is 09-29-2012 started off as a joke on my BFF and turned out it wasn't a joke he was serious.

1 year for me, which was more than enough time.

We had a venue at a year and are still planning right now. Going well except dress

Our wedding is in 14 months and venues are already booked for our date! We’re trying to secure a venue and I already picked my dress. Once the venue is taken care of we have plenty of time for everything else.

We got engaged christmas 2018 and we started planning in january 2019 for a january 2020 wedding! we definitely are happy we started right away but since we had a year we planned to use it to our advantage!
