How I asked my bridesmaids/bridesman! How did you ask yours?

I knew I wanted my sister to be my MOH because well, she's my best friend and I was the MOH at her wedding. So I had that one down...but then I had three more spots to fill and I knew I wanted them to be people I wasn't going to "lose touch" with so easily like I've heard people so often do. My...

I knew I wanted my sister to be my MOH because well, she's my best friend and I was the MOH at her wedding. So I had that one down...but then I had three more spots to fill and I knew I wanted them to be people I wasn't going to "lose touch" with so easily like I've heard people so often do.

My groom has identical twin sisters that are only a few months younger than me and they're beginning to feel like my own sisters, so I knew I wanted them! So I had two more down! Now for the fourth and final one...I was unsure because my best friend is a guy. And he's gay so despite people telling me not to or that it was weird, I wanted him as a bridesman and I saw no reason why I couldn't, it's my wedding!

So here is how I asked them!...With a delicious cupcake from a wonderful bakery, a ring on top with the words "It's my turn to POP the question! Will you be my MOH/bridsmeaid/bridesman?" They all loved it! One of his sisters even cried!

How did you ask your bridal party?

    Very cute

I sent my sister a note asking her to be MOH. She had already filled that role for me once so I wanted her to be able to think about it and feel okay telling me no, rather than putting her on the spot. I shouldn't have worried though, she was so excited. My daughters just assumed they'd be in it, so there was no asking.

I'm pretty sure DH just asked his guys in person or in text messages. LOL

I had a bride tell me once that I was going to be in her wedding and I was kind of put off by it. It's nice to be asked instead of having the assumption made.
