How important are chair covers? HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Personally, I HATE chair covers. They look better without. Save your money honey

If you do anything to the chairs, a bow would be pretty, simple & clean, and cheaper If not they look great on their own.

I agree. No chair covers. If they are nice chairs, why hide them? Save money and add a bow or something.

Agree with the ladies above, personally I don't really like chair covers and yours look nice enough without them. I say save your money :-)

I don't really care about them either, but I don't want people whispering... lol "OMG she didn't get chair covers!" LMAO

My venue has nice chairs as well and I see no need to spend additional money.

Nicole, I don't think anyone is going to be thinking that...HOWEVER, if they do complain about THAT...they are the people that will find something else to complain about and aren't worth your time. I don't remember the chairs at most of the wedding I went to it is the room the dancing the people and the food i remember.

Thank you all for the advice! I haven't been able to make a decision on anything since I have started planning I have needed a second opinion on everything!!! NO CHAIR COVERS!!! YAY!

We had chair covers, and I still don't think you need them! The reason we had them was that a) our venue's chairs were all really beat up, and b) our venue's chairs were a mixture of banquet chairs and folding chairs, so they didn't even match each other. And even then, we got them only because I realized that I could buy them inexpensively and get most of my money back by reselling them, so they wouldn't cost much. In normal situations, I think they are completely unnecessary.

Yep, I HATE chair covers too! We haven't decided on the venue, but out of our short list of 4, some of the venues have it included in the package, so we will have them (unless we can reduce the package price by removing them) but if it isn't and it's like a $3-6 add on like most places then there's no way I'm paying that!

Its a chair! I don't see the point in covering it...and if they are whispering about a chair cover, then they are at your wedding for the wrong reason.

Take that money and put it on the bar...if they are drunk they can't pay attention to the chairs, LOL

I think those chairs look fine, so I wouldn't worry about it. We are using chair covers but its only because the chairs at our venue are beat-up and hideous (I'm not exaggerating!). We are going to buy them on ebay or craigslist and then resell them. Its so much cheaper than renting!

I'm in the same boat as you Nicole, the chairs at the venue aren't bad! I think the chair covers look nice with the sashes, but I think I might just put that money into something else for the wedding! They're going to be looking at me, drinking and having a good time and not worrying about the chairs... And if they do, well then that's kinda sad!!

It you have a tight budget, def. do NOT go with chair covers......the only thing people are going to remember from your wedding is the food and fun, not the color of the bows that were on your chairs.

The importance of chair covers is in direct proportion to the ugliness of the chairs!

If the chairs are clean, not worn, and don't totally clash with your color scheme -- skip the chair covers!

Or even care?..Chair covers are free at my venue, but i don't really care if they have them or not.
