How important is cake?

Michelle, on September 3, 2023 at 7:37 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
Is it your go to dessert as a guest so you are making sure to have at least 1 slice per person plus potential leftovers of high quality cake or do you avoid it at all costs and have no desire to serve it?

If you’re having a cake then you need enough for everyone. At weddings I attend people seem to go for wedding cake over other desserts or in addition to other options.

We hadn’t planned on having a wedding cake because we were serving a famous local desserts after dinner and assumed the cake would go to waste. However, after hearing disappointment from so many people, we ended up adding a wedding cake. And to our surprise, it got eaten!

Wedding cake was non-negotiable for me. My cake will be three separate flavors and I ordered WAY too much on purpose. I want one slice of each!

Wedding cake is a definite yes. I am having a cherry vanilla cake and it is going to be decorated with Megaguirus's swarm on it. I have to do it through the venue baker, but he has been super helpful with making my vision into a reality.
