How late can brunch be? Is 12:45 pushing it?

I want a brunch wedding, but we can't get into the venue until 10am. I'm trying to keep things pretty basic, but am wondering how late I can make my brunch wedding? We were originally thinking 11:45 wedding and a brunch immediately following. Can we push this back to 12:30 with brunch closer to 1245...

I want a brunch wedding, but we can't get into the venue until 10am. I'm trying to keep things pretty basic, but am wondering how late I can make my brunch wedding? We were originally thinking 11:45 wedding and a brunch immediately following. Can we push this back to 12:30 with brunch closer to 1245 or 1pm? Or is that just too late? I'm DIYing many things and am worried we won't be ready in time.

I'm hiring someone to set out tablecloths and centerpieces on 14-18 tables (depending on RSVPs), set up a dessert table with 6-8 pies and possibly 3 separate tiers, and place table numbers on the tables. The table delivery guys, etc will need to set up the ceremony chairs (up to 70) and set the tables. They will also need to bring in extra supplies for refreshment areas in two separate areas of the venue.

The caterer says they can be set up by noon.

I'm pretty organized and will have things set up and ready to go. I plan to decorate the outside very early in the morning. The inside will have very little decoration due to the fact that I love it's natural beauty.

I was also thinking about serving brunch. I think as long as you and your guests are eating by 2:00 you are in the clear.

    I agree with this.

I feel like this is totally doable. I imagine it more like a lunchtime wedding that is serving me brunch-time food / ambiance. I would be okay with a dinner time wedding serving me brunch-time food / ambiance. I think if you were doing a meal at like 3pm or 2pm, that might be off but a 12-1pm is 100% okay.
