How late is too late to book a Honeymoon?

Jolie, on July 2, 2019 at 12:18 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 10

I am aiming for November a month after our wedding. FH shoots it down every time I try to talk about it. When we were in Italy I brought it up again and he still won't decide on something. It's starting to irk me and I told him I'd be really mad if we didn't go anywhere. I feel like it's late to be planning and booking something already especially if we need a travel agent, or am I fine on timing still?

You're fine. Plane tickets are usually cheapest about 2 months out.

You're totally fine. For what it's worth, we still haven't taken our honeymoon and we got married in October. (We're waiting for work to sync up with our travel schedule) But travel agents are good at what they do - you have plenty of time, and most are even really good with last minute stuff.

I don't think it's ever too late, especially in November which isn't prime tourist season so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting hotels! My job is a little unpredictable in terms of busyness so we usually book plane tickets for vacations only a month or two in advance so I'll have a better idea of which days won't be awful for me to take off work.

We just booked ours for this September. Plenty of time. We did use a travel agent.

I bought our tickets 6 months out and booked hotels 3-4 months out.

I think you're okay on timing. If you are planning an trip to another country, I would get on the plane tickets though. We bought our flights in Feb/Mar and they have already increased significantly!! Aside from that, you still have plenty of time.
