How long after marriage do you continue to wear your engagement ring?

My engagement ring IS my wedding ring...its a claddagh, so it just gets turned around after marriage.

It came with a band. so I do wear that too, but I wouldn't wear just the band, it would look weird. (My particular one would.)

Forever. My band hugs the curves of my e-ring so it would look silly alone, IMO. But I know a few people who only wear a simple band, mostly because of thier work environment.

I will be wearing both, except for times it is more appropriate to wear just the band (gardening, traveling abroad, etc.)

My engagement ring and wedding band fit together so I will be wearing them both for as long as we are married and they're well cared for.

Planning to always wear both unless my job/hobby/etc make the engagement ring impractical for day to day. So far I've had zero issues with it being in the way but Im not soldering mine so I can wear just the scalloped band if I want to certain days

Planning to always wear it. However being a nurse with constantly gloves going on and off makes me nervous of affecting the prongs. I heard of someone taking their gloves off and the ring went in the trash with the gloves. That's the only time I'll only wear a band - at work.

Forever... my wedding band is 2 bands, and enhancer and my engagement ring fits in the middle.

I think it depends on personal preference. My mother always wore hers together. My e-ring is a family ring from 1890s and I'm terrified it will break so I might consider wearing only my band

I think not wearing the engagement ring after you're married is a dated idea. Now most people get them put together into one ring

I didn't get a wedding band, it's really not a normal thing in my culture, so I'm wearing my "engagement" ring (which I now just call my wedding ring) forever. Or until I decide I just want a band or something (maybe with babies or something?).

I wear both and will likely continue to do so for the rest of my life.
