    About 3 years. It was on and off though, so it's kind of a complicated history. I decided to do a long engagement because of finances, and to make sure that it's actually for real this time xD So far so good Smiley smile

    3 1/2 years. Thought Christmas, first date anniversary, New Years, Valentine’s Day. Nope. Birthdays are both in March and vacation. Nope. Then I figured never. October 4 out of nowhere he asked. And my family was in on it. We were all on our way to Ed Sheran concert.

    4+ years but it depends where you are in life and so many other factors. It came at the right time for us. 😊 And by the end of our engagement it'll be an additional 2 years!

    6 1/2 years, we celebrated our 7th anniversary 6 weeks before the wedding.

    I... may have gotten impatient. I was trying *so* hard not to - DH is younger than me - but I just wanted to make it legal!

    Mine took 14 months. My fiance and i never dated, we were courting so we knew marriage was somewhat in our plan.
