How long did it take to get your professional pictures?

We were told 3-4 weeks for ours!

We got our preview pics (50ish images) in a month and our full gallery in 60 days. Which is exactly what they estimated when we signed with them.

I should add too, that my photographers just started up again this month after a move from Austrailia to Canada so their wedding season is likely to be less busy than more established photogs, so our turn around is probably a lot less than others might be

Mine took a while. About 2 months to get back, but my wedding fell right before the holidays and I suppose that slowed her down.

My photographer said the norm turn around time is 6-8 weeks. I'm dying over here! I've never felt so impatient in my life haha. She said yesterday that she has 300 left to edit and apparently that's a little bit

You probably should have worked this detail out in your contract....

Our wedding is September 20 and we're not getting photos until December, but they edit about 700 of them.

My photographer just told me the other day that it would take no more than 2 weeks. We'll see, but I'm hoping he's not just BS-ing me.

We are supposed to get ours back in 4-5 weeks from our wedding date - so about 4 weeks to go hopefully!

When I signed the contract with my photographer it said could take up to 30 days

I waited 12 weeks for my engagement photos. which was a really long time. my photographer apologized numerous times and assured me we wouldn't have to wait as long for our wedding photos as she's been a lot more conscious when booking her 2015 weddings.

it's going to vary depending on time of year, how busy (how many weddings or other shoots they book) your photographer is, etc. i'm assuming it should say something in your contract?

What does your contract say? Mine said July 1, which is about 2 months. I heard from her a couple weeks ago and she's done editing and just needs to make our photo book. I'm so tired of waiting!!

We got ours 2 weeks after, basically right after we got back from the honeymoon.

Our contract says 2 weeks. My friend had her as a photographer too and got home from her engagement pictures at 8:00pm and by 9pm she had 15 on Facebook for a preview. Shes awesome!

6-8 weeks is the usual. It can take a little longer, you must also remember your photographer may have others before you.

Photos are a LOT of work.
