How long did it take to get your wedding photos

I booked a photographer and in the contract it said it takes 8-10 weeks to get photos back. Is that average? That seems like a long time to me. She’s a highly sought after photographer in my area...I’m wondering if that has something to do with it or if it usually takes that long.

    For the time of year that you're getting married, 8-10 weeks is definitely not unheard of. We got ours back right around 8 weeks.

    Probably! We’re getting married in October so I think that’s wedding season right? I hope I get mine back closer to the 8 week mark! My contract said they can’t be held liable if it takes longer..

    I think 8-10 weeks is totally normal! They'll have quite a few pictures to edit from your wedding, plus editing pictures from any other weddings they are hired for around the same time as yours.

    Our photographer says we will get all our photos back within 12 weeks. We also are getting 60-70 photos per hour, and we have her for 11 hours! So we’re looking at somewhere between 600-700 photos!

    Thank you everyone! 3 months seems like so long when you’re so excited! I’m positive the photographer I picked will be well worth the wait though.
