How long did you date before you got engaged?

We dated 7 years before he proposed.

We had been dating 10 months when we started talking about it and a year and a half before we went and purchased the ring.

2 1/2 yrs for the proposal but we both kinda knew early & moved in together at 6months, and in the 1yr anniversary he told me to go pick something out.

We've known each other since we were 13 but we dated just about 3 years before he popped the question.

A little under 2 years

My wonderful fiance proposed this past Christmas Eve of 2012, just barely a month shy of our 4th anniversary! So 3 years and 11 months-ish

About 2.5 years.

We had been officially date for 2 years and 10 months when he asked, but we'd known each other for a lot longer before we even started dating.

Well...this time around, we had been together about a year before we started planning the wedding. (he didn't officially propose, we just picked a date and started making plans lol)

BUT we were high school sweethearts and he proposed to me right after high school. Then life got in the way and we lost each other for a while. 20 years later we found each other again.

Soo.. we technically got married 22 years after he proposed . LOL

A little over 6 yrs. When FHs Godmother saw the ring, her response was, 'it took him long enough but he got it right!'

Five and a half years. We just hit our 6 year anniversary last week and we'll be married on our seventh.

9 Months

Just over 3 years, we had talked about it for probably about a year prior, he was just saving up for the ring and we began saving for the wedding.

He proposed on our 4th anniversary.

by the time we get married it will be 5.5 years
