How long did you wait to get engaged & married ?

I met my fiance when I was going to community college, back in 2016. We dated for 2 years before he proposed to me in Reno (it was our 2 year anniversary trip). We've been engaged for 2 years while expecting to get married in August 2020...although that fell through (thanks Covid). We didn't let that stop us though. We eloped at city hall and decided to throw the "wedding" next April

Hey, cool. Yes we got engaged 8 months after being together but by the time we get married we would have been together 4 months shy of our 2 year anniversary of being together because it is next summer.

My fiance and have been together for three and a half years. We got engaged two months ago.
However, by our wedding in 2021. We will have been together four and a half years.

We started dating in December 2012. We bought a house together in New Orleans, in 2015 about 70 miles from where we met. We renovated that house for almost a year. Everyone said if we could survive that we were meant to be. He knew I was particular so he let me look at rings on my own before I showed him my favorite jewelers and the styles. From there, COVID happened and he proposed to me while walking in the French Quarter along the Mississippi River in July 2020. I was completely surprised and moved. We are planning a December 2021 wedding. So, many a year and he is totally worth it!

Dating for 9 years. We started dating when we were both 16. Now we are engaged! We will be getting married on our 11 year anniversary ❤️

Got engaged after 1 year and 9 months. Will be getting married after 4 years and 2 months together.

7yrs to get engaged and was supposed to be 8yrs til marriage but now it 9yrs due to covid..

We were together 4 and a half years before we got engaged. At the time of our wedding we will have been together 6 and a half years

We were together 4 years before we moved in together and 4 months after that we got engaged with a long 2 year engagement waiting until 2022

My fiancé and I dated for 1.5 years before being engaged. (Moved in together 6 months before we got engaged). We will be engaged for 14 months before our big day

We were together 6 years before he proposed but we started dating at 16 so we've been in school the whole time we've been dating and we finally got to the point where we'd be able to have a wedding so he proposed. We are waiting until 2022 for 2 reasons. Our venue didn't have any dates open in fall when we want the wedding and my brother is in the navy and will be on tour without leave during our date so we moved it back a year.

But we were high school sweethearts so waiting that long was appropriate for us since we started dating so young. My husband waited for us to both we done with college

Waited 6 years to be engaged, and it will be 4 years of engagement. We are high school sweethearts and have 3 kids together. We are still young and have been taking the wedding things slow so we can focus on our family and our already amazing life together. We can’t wait to be officially married but he’s always been my husband in my eyes.
