How long did you wait to take your the test?

You should take it a couple days after your expected period, in the morning, but if you have one already, it should tell you.

With me it would jump all over the place. It can be one month or few days or a couple of weeks. Hubby wants to know and is so excited.

You could always take a test and if it comes up negative test again in a week or so if your period does not show up. Depending of course on how long ago it was that you had sex.

I would take it a few days later. I took one a few days after my missed period and it came back positive which wasn't a surprise since I felt some of the symptoms. I then went on to take two more to confirm. Which they all came back positive.

I was always totally impatient. I was off to the doctor's office for a blood test practically as soon as I was late.

The best way to go an accurate result fast, is to go to the doctor. This is an exciting time for you guys, and you just want to know, get the blood test!

The whole month of November we are going to ahve sex everyday. One, because someone said their premarital counceler recommended & second, because we will then be TTC. I'm planning on taking a test every Sunday for 6 weeks, then if I'm not pregnant, maybe every two weeks?

That's funny @STB Mrs. Congiardo. I just wanted to wait a little because I teach dance at the dance studio to kids. June is the recital so by April all dances would be done. I don't want my stomach to be to big that I can't do what I need to do (lol).

My period is 11 days late! But I took a test and its negative (a good thing for me! We aren't quite ready for that yet! LOL!) But there is no sign of it coming...so if it's not here by Tuesday, I'm going to the doctor.

Luckyones I understand. I am five going on six days. My body is so weird. It can come a month from now or the following two weeks. I was so worry about not getting prego before the wedding. So now I can relax a lot more.

Having sex every day will not make your chances of conceiving great. From what I've read, it is better to NOT have sex so often so your man can keep his "supply" up. Plus, there are only a few days when you can actually get pregnant anyway. But there is no harm in having fun!

I took my test over a week after my missed period. I was sooooo in denial. lol

Thing is, i have NEVER had a wierd period. It is always exactly on time, every month. So you can see now why Im worried...but maybe its just stress.

@Wonderful Moment - Just having a little one myself, I was only a few days shy of my expected cycle when my co-worker noticed that I was eating a little crazy. It was close to the time that I was expected to come on, but in fact when I took the test it was certainly positive! Of course I followed this up with a serum pregnancy test and it confirmed that I was expecting!

To be honest..on my bc I was so on the dot it was same day same time. I took it the DAY I was supposed to start my period and got an instant and very clear positive. Then 4 tests later I finally believed it. Everyone is very different some can test that fast like me and others have to wait a week..also make sure you test right away in the morning

Having alittle guy, I remember taking the test immediately (as soon as I thought I was pregnant.) Take it immediately, so you can stop worrying about what if's..

I didn't even realize I had missed my cycle, because I had one for like 2 days, but it was super light.. I didn't take a test until mid-July.. actually, the night we got home from our honeymoon.. and my last true period was the end of May! I got my positive that night, doctor the next day confirmed that I was already 6 weeks!

I'm passing on my warning about the urnine tests! I was 5 days late and had a doctor's urine test, but it was negative. Two days later I had blood tests and found out I was. And for sure, I had another blood test and two ultrasounds after that. So test after you miss but if it doesn't come test and test again. And if you really want to know and can't wait, blood detects the hormones right away

Ok. Maybe I will try this weekend and let you guys know the results. I don't think I am. I am losing weight and working out all the time.
