How long do you typically start seeing Rsvp’s come in?

Our original wedding plans got postponed due to COVID. Originally we sent out PHYSICAL STD’s in hopes that COVID wouldn’t destroy the plans, but obviously it did. This time when we got the rumor that CA was opening back up my fiancé wanted to get married as quick as possible in fear that CA would be shut down again. This time we decided on another date (1yr from original) and DIGITALLY send out another round of STD’s. I have PHYSICALLY already sent out the formal invitations and by day 3 from sending those out I already got 2 responses. I don’t know why but I started getting excited that people would respond quickly. Well now 10 days from those two responses not one single person has reached out. I’m not saying you have to know right then if you’re going or not, 10 days ain’t shhh but it does make me anxious…RSVP options were to either text or email (idc if that sounds tacky or what not, this isn’t what was originally planned) and I’m giving 6 weeks to respond which I feel like is ample time? Anyway-how long does it take for RSVP’s yo usually start coming in?

Many of the posts on this site are complaints about last minute/lack of RSVP returns. Sadly, it is too common of an issue and you will probably end up having to do follow-ups on those not returned for your deadline.😔

I feel like they will start coming in closer to the rsvp deadline. For our minimony we got ours back all within a week of them going out I feel. For our upcoming reception, I just sent the invited out last week & we've received about 15/90 so far. But our reception isn't until October

We sent ours out about 2 weeks ago and received 60 out of 240 so far. We’re only doing online RSVPS so was happy with the responses coming in quick, but noticing a pause now. Well occasionally get 1 every two - three days or so now. I’m thinking we’ll get them closer to the deadline, but I’m still checking my emails just in case haha.

Hi ! My guests had around 2 months to respond, some of them dit it right away, some waited till the last minute...

I’m mailing mine tomorrow. I figure people are on vacation and stuff so I waited until the end of July. I expect they’ll respond in August and closer to the due date in September. Then I’ll call the ones who didn’t respond. FH said he’d help call, especially friends from his side.

We sent ours ten days ago and so far have received responses from 7/55 so I wouldn’t worry. My aunts/uncles/cousins (some of whom are IN the wedding) still haven’t sent back the RSVP.

I’ve received 60 out of 124 invites with two weeks left to RSVP. I’m sure I will have to reach out as people set things aside and forget. Every time I post a story on my Instagram about my wedding or if I am making favors I always get one or two RSVPs. I feel like people forget and then kind of have to be reminded, don’t take it personal. It happens to everybody
