How long does it take to receive your venue contract?

We got ours pretty quickly, like a day or two after we toured it.

We toured a place and then called back to ask for availability. They had a date for us and we told them Wed like to move forward. We were told they'll get back to us with a draft contract. It's been a week. I'm starting to think it's unprofessional.

Mine was within the same week.

We got ours within hours of discussing the venue on the phone.

We “secured” our venue back December and were told within 2 weeks and we still don’t have a contract or put down a deposit. It makes me nervous but we’re touring the venue in April so I’m hoping to press them for it. I’ve already followed up twice!!

We had already discussed dates & things beforehand, so I got the contract the day I toured it when I decided to move forward.

We've toured and talked with this one over the phone that we'd like to lock in a date. But we're still waiting for them to give us the contract. I feel like if a venue can't even be timely with their contract (which should be priority for them to lock in customers) that's we may just cut them loose. Don't want professionalism issues down the road working with them...

View Quoted Comment Yeah it’s a plane ride to get where our wedding is! It’s a little different because we’re getting married at an art gallery that doesn’t explicitly cater to weddings so I’m hoping that’s why they aren’t so prompt. I do have it in writing via email our date is reserved.
