I know it's going to take an hour for my make up and probably an hour for my hair so I'm allowing 3 hours just to be on the safe side or in case something goes wrong lol

I plan on allowing 4 to 5 hrs. I have two stylist doing four bridesmaid, two moms, and me. They are going to be on location and doing our hair and makeup for pictures before the wedding, touch ups before we walk down the aisle, and before I take photos with my FH after the ceremony.

Both my hair and makeup took an hour each so I allowed 2 1/2 hours so I would have some breathing room.

We had four bridesmaids, two moms, & me and it took roughly five hours. With that being said, we had one makeup artist & one hairstylist.

We did not want or need pro makeup or hair. 2 of 5 of us had very short hair, needed moisturizer, eyeliner and lip stain only , the perfect skin people we love to hate. And 3 of us in occupations where our shoulder length or longer hair had to be up in braids, chignon, French twist, or similar, done ourselves, for every workday. We were staying at an inn, and let our hubbies or SO know, at 3 pm we get our own bathrooms. Because we started pictures early, before the men. At 3:45, all showered, hair set and dried or whatever, hair done, made up, we started women's pics with me, 2 MOH, 2 BM. So much easier, 5 people each in her own bedroom. 2 women had a friend who helped them do hair, or put gown on without disturbing hair. Short openings with zippers, their dresses had to go over heads. My mom went to her room at same time, came to mine last 10 minutes to put on gown and headpiece. So under an hour for all 6 of us. The best thing about NOT getting ready together, or with one or two Pro HMUA for all.

We have 13 women, all getting hair & makeup done. We have 2 artists & an assistant and we are getting ready from 10 AM - 4 PM. They said around 45 minutes (or less) per service per girl.

We had 5 makeup and 6 hair do's - we were at the salon from 10:15am until 3:30pm. There was only 1 MUA and 1 Stylist.

We had appointment times staggered from 8am to 10pm, with everyone finished by 11:30. There were 3 moms, myself and 4 of my bridesmaids. My own timeline PERSONALLY was hair for an hour, makeup for an hour, and then I was wandering the salon checking on everyone for the last hour or so. (our salon was about a 5-10 minute drive from our venue)

Definitely ask your hair stylist and makeup artist because it totally depends on them. My bridesmaid went to cosmetology school and is doing hair and makeup for me and the other girls. She said she easily could do hair and makeup for each girl in 30 mins, but she wants to have about 45 to an hour for mine.

It took us a while, which was a shame because it didn't leave us time for getting ready photos or bridal portraits. It started at 1pm and ended by 5pm. It was 6 of us with two makeup/hair stylists.

Hi! How did this work for you? We have 10 people (me, 5 bridesmaids, two moms, SIL, and oddly enough my aunt lol). We’re only getting hair done at the venue, and we’re doing our own makeup. How long did hair take?

Great! Each mom & bridesmaid took around 45 minutes and mine took a little over an hour.
