We just made a year on Sept 13. :-)

Blind date set up by a mutual friend. That was in 2003.

I met H at work. I was his boss. At first we couldn't stand each other, do he quit. An accidental phone call one night and 8 years later we are Married with children. For the record" I'm still the boss."

I met mine on POF. I lived in a house with 13 roommates. Yes no lie. 3 floors, 3 bathrooms, 12 rooms (some shared a room) and 2 living rooms. I made him meet every girl in the house to see if they approved and they did and we have been together since.

Lost touch during high school. Then 20 years after we originally met reconnected through fb. Had a 1 year long distance relationship and are getting married in 12 days!

This February will make 4 years we have been together.

We actually met the first time through his ex....they were still together at the time and I worked with her. We later started talking on meetme and started dating. She even gave it her blessing she's with a new guy and they just had a baby.

We met about three years ago in a college computer class. He actually had a girlfriend at the time that we met so, despite liking him, I didn't pursue anything. Two years later, he's single and asks me out for coffee. We've been together for a little over a year now.

5 1/2 years! I was in an abusive relationship when I met him. He helped me get out of it and heal. I don't know what I would've done without him!!!

FH and I have known each other for a very long time. We dated for 6 years through college and after, then I was a jerk and broke up with him. We completely lost touch and I married someone else. I never let FH go from my heart and mind, he was my one that I let slip away. I ended up with breast cancer at a young age which made me evaluate everything about my life including my relationship with the person I was married to. I only loved him as a friend and we both came to realize that he and I were together to help me through the cancer. In my realizing life is short and my quest for ultimate happiness I let him go. Part of my healing process was to apologize to the people I felt I had done wrong and emailed FH an apology. At that point I hadn't seen or spoken to him in 9 years. I never expected him to get back to me but he did and we started talking and one thing led to another. We were meant to be together. I always new that and he did too. We started dating again and after 4 years of dating we decided to have a baby. When I was pregnant with our son we had an intimate private promise-to-marry ceremony and exchanged promise rings. Three years later he gave me an engagement ring and proposal. And now two years after that we're finally getting married. The wedding will be on the same date we got back together 10 years ago. A love story 23 years in the making!
