How long have you and your partner been together? How did you meet?

We've been together almost 6 years. We met in college, mostly through mutual friends, but officially at a Halloween party

We will celebrate 2 years in January. As I say (2 years at New Years). He proposed after 1 year of dating. We moved in 2 months ago. Marrying in 6

We met at work. We've been together four years in November

We met through friends. A classmate invited me and another girl from class out to a hookah bar. I didn't really want to go but the girl begged me to go with her, so I obliged. She ended up inviting a guy she liked and his friend (FH). We caught eyes immediately. He slowly made his way from across the table to right next to me and we spent all night talking (and the next few nights also). He kissed me while we were waiting for our friends to get out of the bathroom lol. The rest was history! We've been engaged about 7 months and just celebrated our 7 year anniversary on October 10th!

Haha it's a nerdy story.

I had just moved and was pretty depressed about moving away from my friends in Texas and moving to Wisconsin where I knew no one. I was only 12 when we moved and we moved to a tiny town where all the kids had grown up together, so I didn't really fit in. My parents had both grown in in the Illinois area and my mom had gone to the Bristol Renaissance Faire as a kid (it was known as King Richard's when she was a kid). So anyway, she decided to take me and my brothers, and I fell in love with the community and was so excited to find friends, so I wanted to audition. At this point I had just turned 13. Anyway, someone suggested I audition for a smaller Medieval Fayre that fall, called the Camelot Medieval Fayre. So I audition and got cast as a fairy. My role was to play with kids, and adults couldn't see me. So I'm at the dress rehearsal the weekend before and completely bored because there's no kids for me to interact with, and the adults aren't supposed to be able to see me, so the rehearsal was pretty boring for me. There was a guy standing there holding a helmet, so I figured since adults (he's several years older than me) couldn't see me I'd mess with him, and started putting leaves in his hat and just generally annoying things like that. We broke character and chatted for a few minutes (my mom has a picture of that moment, which is pretty cool!), and that was about it. Over the next couple of years we ran into each other at various events, including the Bristol Renaissance Faire which I did audition for and get into the next year, and found out he'd been involved for a few years. So we just grew closer over the years, and started dating when I was 17/18, and the rest is history! We'll be getting married on the 11 year anniversary of the day we met!

He was best friends with my sisters FH. They always joked we would be perfect for each other but he was a junior in college and I was finishing HS. We were already set to be MOH and BM at their October wedding(I figured I'd meet this "perfect man" during the wedding festivities but he took matters into his own hands and found me on Facebook in April. Our first date was on 4/20 and we will be getting married on our 5th anniversary of being "official" 6/17/17. I can't wait to marry this man. He really is perfect for me.

We've been together for 3.5 years. We met indoor rock climbing (bouldering) I was new and was climbing without chalk (which you need for your hands) and he offered me his to share. It was very sweet. I saw him climbing two night later, and he asked for my number and if I'd like to go to dinner. We've been together ever since

We met at work at new RN residency. I was there to give a presentation that I missed giving with my group. He saw me and talked to me for about 5 minutes then asked for my number after the class! We have been together for two years

We met in high school but didn't start dating until we were in (separate) colleges. Been together over 11 years (we got married on our 11th anniversary).

ETA: We also went to middle school together, but are different years and somehow didn't know one another then!

We met through an online dating site. It was a small town and he was the bartender at the only steakhouse for miles around. I would sit and smile the whole night watching him work his magic with the regulars. That was 4 years ago! Love him so much...

We met in college and have now been together for 7.5 years!

We met in college. I met a girl through a high school friend and we really hit it off. She started dating a guy freshman year. My FH was his random roommate. We both dated other people in college but would see each other because of them. I'm senior year, I moved in with that friend so we spent a lot more time together and ended up liking each other. The friend just married FH roommate and we were in the wedding. They will of course be in ours too.

We met on POF four years ago.

We've been together 4 years & 5 months! 7 more months until we get married!

We met in POF had our first date at a local park (he drove down from maryland to meet me) I knew he was the one when he drove me an hour away just to get Sonic! Moved in about 7 months later and got engaged in march. and now we've been together for 2 and half years and are about 4 months out from the end of a year long deployment

Our story:

We met at a bar drunker than we both should have been I didnt want to exchange numbers because I had a BF at the time (even though the relationship was practically over). He added me on Facebook and asked me to at least message him when I go home. I did. A week later I kicked my BF at the time out... about 2 months later my FH and I started hanging out and went up hill from there!!! We have been together 2 in a half years been engaged for 5 months, I can NOT wait to marry my best friend <3 My favorite thing about him, is the way he looks at me!

My FH and I met at Macy's we were coworkers in the Loss Prevention department while in college. We've been together since 2008.
