How long is your engagement?

My friend had a 6 month engagement and it stressed me out as MOH! Lol but my engagement will be 18 months I’m done grad school and stress free!

11 months. We planned our wedding around the best time to go to Thailand for our honeymoon or it would of probably of been around 14 months.

By the time we get married we will have been together close to 6 and a half years and engaged 4 years and a few months. I watched my FSIL get engaged in April or May then married early September. It seemed so stressful for them. No way i could plan something that quick.

We got engaged 10/28/17 and will be married 10/27/18. So just one day shy of a year!

Mines has been 14 years. I love the fact that he was willing to wait til I was ready to get married. Now I can’t wait until we are married.

We've been dating three years. We got engaged exactly a week before Thanksgiving of 2017 and we're getting married October 20, 2018. Our dating anniversary is in September so we'll have been together for four years by the time the wedding comes

8.5 month long engagement. Been together 2 years, 9 months when we got engaged.

My FH proposed on Jan 13th and our engagement will be a few days shy of 5 months. We really wanted to be married this year so its been a little stressful- but lucky my FMIL and parents are helping a lot!

Mine is 1 year and almost 2 month. Got engage June 23, 2017 and getting married August 18, 2018. I didn't want a too long engagement and a too short one. It all up to the bride and groom. I know people that's been engage longer then me and still not married and people who got married and had less time to plan. No one can control everything. You just try your best to plan the wedding of your dream.

When we get married, we will have been together almost 7 years and engaged for almost 2. He wanted a fall wedding and the official engagement happened in February. We wanted longer than 8 or 9 months to plan so we pushed it out a year.

We are 2 years. We want the fall and it's hard to get in. Everything was booked out in one year time frame

Our engagement is about 8 months- our venue handles almost everything so I don't have much to worry about. Plus I really wanted to elope so I don't have a real vision of what my wedding "should be"

My fiance and I were 17 when we met in highschool. We got engaged at 21 and I will be 24 he will be 25. We have been engaged 3 and a half years by the time we get married, yet I am still stressed

I was/am 18 months. I knew I wanted to spend a decent amount of time enjoying being engaged, and I also knew I'd need lots of time to plan.

I personally couldn't imagine planning a wedding that quickly, but I'm also having a fairly large, somewhat extravagant wedding, so it takes way more time. If hers was smaller/more casual, I could see it not being too bad to do that quickly.

15 months engaged. Having a wedding that quick is not the norm and props to your friend because I'd have gone crazy trying to plan a wedding and get people there in that short of a time.

Wedding day is 10/27/18. Which will make a 14 month Engagement for us!!

On wedding day we will have been together 3 1/2 yrs, engaged for 18 months but we have known each other for 25 yrs, high school sweethearts.

Our engagement will be approximately 21.5 months, SO just under 2 years. We decided to do a long engagement because we wanted to be married in the summer but didn’t want to have less than a year to plan it.

Our engagement is three and a half months. Engaged 11-18-17, married 3-3-18.

It's doable, I promise! We have everything squared away and locked in and we're 3 weeks out!
