2 weeks in Italy! Actually ends up being more like 12 days that we’re actually getting to spend there because of travel/time change lol but still.
We decided on it because italy is the #1 place on my bucket list. I really wanted to spend time just exploring the country. My FH, alternately, wanted to lie on a beach (didn’t even care where) with a tropical drink and doing absolutely nothing 😂 So we compromised and while we ARE going to Italy, we are spending 1 week exploring and then the second week will be relaxing on the beach in Positano
It’s going to be a long and pricey trip but from what I’ve heard, it’s difficult to enjoy Italy with only 1 week. And I figure, I’ve wanted to go there my entire life, if I dont take 2 weeks for honeymoon, I never will!
Bermuda is AMAZING. The people are sooo nice. It's good, too, because they accept U.S. Currency. Where are you staying? My aunt and I stayed at Grotto Bay when we went. It was really nice. If you need any tips on what to do/where to go, let me know!
We are taking a 4 day mini-moon immediately after the wedding to somewhere in driving distance. Then in the summer time we are taking a week long cruise in Alaska. (Can't cruise in Alaska in the winter for obvious reasons.....icebergs.)
With a January wedding our options were limited and Alaska is our dream vacation so we decided to head to a romantic snowy cabin in the mountains, go tubing and snowmobiling, and be cozy for a few days then take our big adventure that summer. I'm taking my Florida boy FH to the mountains full of snow and it'll be his beach butts first time seeing snow.

Awesome!!! I’m so happy to hear that! I actually looked into Grotto Bay, I’m pretty sure it’s one of the only all inclusive type places in Bermuda. We decided to go with the cruise option instead, according to my itinerary we’ll be docked in the royal naval dockyard (if that makes sense? Lol) I’m just excited to see some clear blue water!
We spent a week at an all inclusive resort in Antigua. It was one of the islands that we liked from a cruise we went on a year prior and we wanted to go back.
I completely disregarded the whole "cruise" part you had *face palm* haha. The Royal Naval Dockyard is really nice, too. The water is awesome. It's cool, too, because all of the houses there have roofs that are specifically designed to drink rain water. They don't drink bottled water or anything else. All of the water they drink is from the rain! No one there has ever had cancer before. That's probably why!
My dad went to Yellowstone and said it is really nice. It takes about three hours apparently to get from one part to the other. Definitely a week-long trip.
Our wedding is on a Sunday, so technically our booking is Sunday to Sunday but we'll only be there Monday to Sunday. We had the option of Monday to Monday instead but I really want the Monday we get back (Memorial Day, so neither of us will be working,) to get unpacked, settled, and spend the day with my little girl.
We're staying at the El Dorado Royale Casitas in Riviera Maya. My dad and stepmom actually picked the resort for us. They're paying for our honeymoon and our only requests were somewhere beachy, somewhere that I would be able to facetime my daughter, and all-inclusive. They nailed it!
12 day Caribbean cruise, and once we get back we launch right into the holidays! I work at a college and we close for about 10-12 days for the holidays.
4 days, he only has 2 vacation days left this year, he used the others when we had our daughter in March. We are staying at his family’s beach house in Southold NY!! So we are paying for our tickets and we will borrow his moms car, we are borrowing some baby stuff to lessen the expense!! We leave 5 days after our wedding!
