How long is your honeymoon? A week, two weeks, longer? Where are you going? Why did you decide to go there?

My FH is taking two weeks off of work for our Honeymoon though the actually trip in Ireland is only a 9 day 8 night tour. We budgeted in travel time and recuperation time for any jet lag he might have before returning to work. I am currently finishing my degree so thankfully we do not have to worry about time off for me. My FH decided on Ireland as I left the honeymoon completely up to him and he has always wanted to go there.

Our wedding is in Florida, and we'll be there for eight days total. Most of that will be wedding prep and events, but we should have two days before and one day after to relax. Then we're going to Playa del Carmen in Mexico for five days. We were going to do something local, but our friend offered us the use of his timeshare and the price was too good to pass up.

We're hoping to do a big, two-week trip next year for our anniversary.

We just came back from a two week honeymoon in Europe - London, Paris, and Rome. We had about 11 days to actually explore the cities, due to travel. We're not beach people, and my FH had never been out of North America before, so he really wanted to experience Europe, and also visiting Italy was important to him since he's of mostly Italian descent.

We’re doing 2 weeks, going to London, Paris, and Budapest. I don’t think we could convince our bosses to give us 2 weeks off except that is our honeymoon (my boss was still hesitant to approve it).

Two weeks in Europe! We'll be in in Amsterdam, Belgium, and Paris. We decided on Europe because I'm not a big beach person. I'd rather drink tons of wine, take cooking classes, shop, and go to museums.

10 days in South Africa. It was pure bliss.

Booked through a company called Bonamy Travel. They made it so special for us!

    Hi Sara!

We spent three days in Singapore to acclimate to the time difference, and then stayed one week in the Maldives. DH loves to surf, and I’ve dreamed of staying in an overwater bungalow. I googled those words together and came up with the Maldives.

We did 3 nights in Hilton Head, SC. My oldest was only 3 at the time and I didn’t feel super comfortable going away for longer than that. We plan to travel a lot when the kids are older, so for now we’re just sticking to family vacations and showing our kids the world.

It was a week. We went to Tahiti and Bora Bora because it's gorgeous there and we wanted to stay in overwater bungalow.

We will be leaving Oct. 11 and coming back the 21st. So roughly 10 ish days. Going into Honolulu for three days and then leaving for a cruise around a few of the islands for the rest of the time.

We wanted to go there mainly for all the pearl harbor museum related stuff since FH has been really into that kind of history. He's very excited for it. Also wanted to be able to experience a cruise/beach vacation since we have never been anywhere outside of 12 ish hours from Kansas. We decided to go all out for it without leaving the U.S. since I don't think we would even make it back there after having kids. lol. If anyone has any excursion recommendations for Kahului, Maui, Hilo and Kona, Hawaii, and Nawilliwili, Kauai please let us know! Smiley smile We know we are going to be doing a snorkeling and deep sea fishing one but those are the only ones that stand out that much too us.

We are going to Disneyland for 4 days. I was actually joking when I suggested it. We are both Disney freaks and I was online looking to see how much vacation packages were to take the kids and I said babe let's go to Disneyland for our honeymoon he said sure lol. Hes never been and I really wanted to go for the holidays. So we decided we will go for our honeymoon in dec and then take the kids the next year
