How long of a gap between the ceremony and reception?

We are having a very small wedding of 80 people. The church where the ceremony is being held is about 45 minutes to an hour w/o tolls from the reception venue. How much time should we set between the ceremony for pictures and travel to the reception? Ceremony starts at 5:00

80% of my guests list is filled with church member and family members that don't drink. The other 20% is us, the wedding party and my mom. They all voted on margaritas. Because no one drinks beer. Literally it was an option for them to pick what type of drink they wanted . I chose based on the response given.

As much as I support a dry wedding (not for me, just feel some people may have a good reason) I don't think I can get on board w a "semi-dry wedding"..no cocktail during cocktail hour = no. I'm also not a fan of servong only one type of drink during the reception... what about people that can't go no where near tequila? You do know tequila drives some people cray cray? And you are adding a 45 min drive in between? Please reconsider some of these choices :-)

That's me Ksera, but now I have to look that stunning actress up, lol.

Social hour is what happens after church. On Sunday morning. With coffee (though I have a hunch that adding Mimosas would increase church attendance exponentially.

Given that you're not budging on the marg machine, self serve is going to be a mess, it'll take forever, and the liability for you is something to really consider.

@overthemoon it is small to me because all of my friends had weddings with 400+ people.

Just read OPs updates! Ok, much, much better! Cocktail hour w food and margaritas! Maybe add a signature drink or wine if yoy can. But if you are certain that only 20% (16 people) drink, and they all agreed to Margaritas... then go for it!
