How long was your entire wedding?

My fiancé and I just put done a deposit on a venue, but since we put down the deposit, it seems that we keep finding out new things about the venue. I just learned that the earliest we could use the ceremony space would be 5:00, and the latest you can use the reception space is 11:00pm. This means that the WHOLE wedding would only be 6 hours long from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception. Does this seem like enough time?
It is not too late to get my deposit back.

The average wedding reception length is 4 hours, plus 1 hour for cocktail hour, plus your ceremony!
Like the previous posters have said - as long as you schedule your photos and set up / take down time well, you should be good!

That’s pretty normal, and people do pictures before ceremony now as to not take up time to enjoy the reception. I made the mistake and wasn’t able to sit down and enjoy. I spent almost my entire reception doing pictures!

Ours will be about 5-6 hours total. We paid a little extra to have the day before to set up the venue and the morning of the wedding to finish setting it up.

I believe that's standard. We arrive at 4. Ceremony at 5. Reception is 6 to 11. I believe its enough time.
