How long were you together before getting engaged?

A few weeks shy of 7 years. He will tell anyone who listens it was NOT 7 years. 🤣 He wrote me a love note in high school on the bus. I thought he was too young (I’m actually a few months older but he was a class under me). He went off to college and we ran into one another at a Goodwill right after he had graduated. We were both a bit shocked/embarrassed but exchanged numbers. We started started texting/calling and the rest is history. We still shop at Goodwill to find steals.

We were together for about 3 years before he proposed. But he's always been my best friend, even when I didn't want him to be.

Met through a mutual friend in Feb 2016 and been friends and partied together since lol (I was only 21, he had just turned 23)

Made it official June 2017

Moved in august 2017

Got engaged August 2018

Getting married August 2019
