How long you and your fh been dating before getting engaged?

10 years together, 9 years engaged finally tying the knot in October!

Known him for 12 yrs, together for 11 yrs, engaged on 12/25/17 and planning to get married on 5/15/2021.

We talked for a year dated for eight months got engaged and have been engaged for three years

We dated for a year and a half before we got engaged and knew each other roughly two months before we were official! I knew wayyyy early on it would be forever though.

Over 10 years. He actually popped the question on our 10 year anniversary last year.

We got engaged a month before our 5th dating anniversary and will get married just a few days before marking 6 years after we met.

Twelve years before we got engaged, another two and it'll be fourteen years the day we get married... 60 days and counting!

We had been together for just short of 3 years. We had already lived together for two years, so I knew he was my life partner though I was shocked he proposed. He’s not a traditional fella so I didn’t think he wanted to make things legal. 👻

I'm really bad at remember exact dates so I know we were together for 7 years before he asked and then it's been 8 years so far and 9 by the time we will actually be married.

We also met online. We got engaged after 5.5 years. We will be getting married on our 6th anniversary.

Five years! We’ll probably get married after our 6th year anniversary.

We met 2 years ago, never really dated. But were together. We started as dance partners after we met and liked each other started seeing each other. Then broke up, the got back together, he proposed after knowing each other for 1.5 years. We now have a daughter together who’s 4.5 months and are getting married in 2 weeks

We started dating when we were 15 (high school sweethearts). We had been together for a little over 10 years when he proposed and it will be a little over 12 years when we get married ❤️

Semi-seriously discussed marriage on our second date (one week from our first), officially engaged at our sixth month of dating, married one year from our first date.

We also met online! We were both previously married. He was divorced for 20 years. I was married 18 years, divorced 4. Yeah, we’re old. 😆 One of the reasons why we didn’t feel the need for a long engagement. And...we just knew we were the ones for each other.

2 years, but we’ve been best friends for 8 years

Two years when he proposed. He hinted from the very beginning that he wanted to marry me. I was scared. I thought things we moving to fast. Silly me!! Engaged since Feb 15, 2018 getting married June 15, 2019. It will be almost four years dating when we get married.

A year and a half

Dating for a year and two months before he proposed since I told him no proposing within a year. We’ve been engaged for a year and five months and by the time we get married we’ll have been together for three and a half years.

We knew each other for about 2 years before we started dating. Moved in together before we even made it official. Got engaged 9 months after we officially started dating, and got married 8 months later. So we haven’t been together for a long time, but we knew right away how we felt!
