How long?

We were together for 3 1/2 years prior to engagement. We’ll be engaged for a year. 9 months from the big day!

We are going on 3 years next week! It was a little over a year before he proposed (2018) and our engagement will be a little over 2 years. Our wedding is February 2021.

FH and I have known each other for 7 years.
We met (and became good friends): 2/7/2013... Began dating: 8/8/2016.... Engaged: 1/11/19... Wedding: 10/2/21 (postponed from 10/10/20).

We were together for just over 1 year before our engagement, engagement is 2 years total with the wedding this October!

My fiancé and I started dating 10 years ago! Once the initial “honeymoon phase” wore off, things got a bit rocky and we were on and off for the next year. We got back together in 2012, bought our current house in 2013, and have been together ever since. He and I are polar opposites! I have my Master’s degree, and he still misuses “to,” “too,” and “two.” I read instruction manuals cover-to-cover to assemble anything, and he builds race cars in his spare time. I’m an anxiety-ridden scaredy cat, and he is a spontaneous adrenaline junkie. I am neat but mange to burn Minute Rice. He is messy but can cook from scratch. We are so different but complement each other so well. We finally got engaged on New Year’s Eve and are getting married in November!

We were together 7 1/2 years prior to engagement and when we get married in October we will have been together for 9 years. We met when we were 21 in college and have been waiting for the right time. Hopefully now COVID doesn’t get in the way of the right time!

We started dating 2 years ago this Sunday and our engagement will be 1 year and 10 months. We are getting married this September.

We dated a year and 11 months before he proposed. Engaged for 10 months. Will be together for 3 years (known each other n dated) in August

We’ll be engaged for 6 months by our wedding in August

Our wedding in September will be our 10th anniversary - I'm not about remembering another date, and I view this more as a contract renewal for another ten. 😉


If we still want to keep each other maybe we have a mini shindig in another decade. I'd there's a second pandemic at that time, I'll take that as a sign and we'll split up to spare the world. 😂

I met my FH online March of 2019 right after my friends sister married her husband from the same dating site. We were together about 6 weeks before he showed up at my work for a lunch date asking me if I wanted to try on this ring he bought me. We’ve been engaged a year and we will be married on July 18.

4+ years as boyfriend and girlfriend and now we're halfway through our 2 year engagement. ❤️

We were together just shy of 6 1/2 years before getting engaged, engaged 7 3/4 months, and now married just shy of 8 months. We will have been together 8 years in about a month.

We dated for a long time because DH was not yet 23 when we met, and I had just turned 29. We met and started dating within 2 weeks, though, because it was pretty dang clear we were made for each other.

He turned 30 only a few days after our wedding, so I will forever joke that I married someone in his 20s.

The irony is that most people don't believe me in the slightest when I make it clear I'm well past 35.

We were engaged after 2.5 of dating and 1 year of living together. Planned to be engaged for a year and get married this October but we might stretch our engagement out another year because of the pandemic.

We have been together for over 3 years now, we got engaged the day before our 2nd anniversary, and by the time of our wedding next year we will be almost 4 years together and almost 2 years engaged❤️

We dated for about 3 years before we got engaged, were engaged for 6 months and 1 day. July 15, we'll have been married for 3 years.

We've had a bit of a whirlwind..."Met" online (in a facebook group) late 2017...started dating in January 2018 ...moved in together in March 2018...Got engaged May 2019....Getting married August 22, 2020. So in total---dating for almost a year and half before officially getting engaged. Engagement period a year and 3 months. We're both older (40) first weddings for both of us. We knew early on we would get married (like probably by May of 2018 lol) We are excited to be on our adventure together

We were high school sweethearts and started dating our sophomore year. He proposed on our 6 year anniversary. When we got married in April we had been engaged 3 years and 4 months. We chose a long engagement to save money but also so that we could have my late fathers birthday as our date. We have to wait until next summer to have our big celebration with everyone due to COVID19. In December we will have been together for 10 years!

We'd been together for 9 months before I proposed to him. Because we're long distance, our engagement will be 3 years.
