If a month works for both of your schedules, and it's in your budget, go for it!! There are no rules to how long a honeymoon can be. Some people do an extended weekend as their honeymoon, others might take a week, some might take a couple weeks, and others might take a month or more! Totally depends on what works for you and your budget.

We just got done with 20 days and I would have added on another 20 days if our bank account would have allowed. Take whatever length of time you desire and can afford.

We took 12 days, and I wanted more but my fiance doesn't have any more allotted PTO. We're staying at Finest Resort in Cancun, which is where we are getting married!

Oh wow that sounds splendid. I would definitely want more days too. But 12 days is a good amount of time.

We're planning ours for a week. My fiancé started a new job at the beginning of the year, and we booked what we could afford 🤷‍♀️

If a month works for your schedule and budget, go for it!

I would definitely set a budget first and then go from there. If you want something fancier, you might have to do less time, but the opposite is true too. Once you have a budget then you can start exploring location, accommodations, and activities

Oh man a month sounds heavenly but realistically for us that would be hard with work schedules and super expensive. Do what works best for you and your partner some people do a few days some do weeks/months. Good luck!

There is no set amount of time a honeymoon should be. It’s whatever the couple chooses. We are doing a 4 day mini-moon right after the wedding, then 45 days in Europe later.

There is no set time to go on your honeymoon. After we got married we took a couple of afterwards. We finally went on vacation to Mexico a year later and made our honeymoon/vacay.
