How many bridesmaids is too little?

I’m having a hard time deciding who my bridesmaids will be. I don’t know if 2 is too little but I honestly don’t have more than 2 people I would choose. I don’t have many friends that I would say are “bridesmaid material” unfortunately.. help lol

If you're comfortable with just two bridesmaids, that's totally fine! As far as I know, there's no "quota" for how many bridesmaids you're allowed to have. If you only know those two women who are truly worthy to stand with you, then by all means just have the two of them, and hopefully your FH is okay with that and has two male friends or relatives who are equally worthy to him.

Have as many as you want. I am having 6 bridesmaids BUT they are all my sisters! I think 2 is a good number and it helps keep the cost down too.

I just picked my sister as my matron of honor and I'm having my niece/godchild be a junior bridesmaid. My view on it was "Who do I just really want up there with me?" and the choice was easy. My family!! When my friends asked about my bridal party I just told them it was important to me that they be guests whose only responsibility is having fun. I don't want anyone feeling like they have duties or a job to do. Which is true! I am one of those girls who has not really enjoyed the times I was a bridesmaid so I look at it like I did them a favor hahaha

Hey you can have as many as you want if its 1 then go with that and if your dont have any friends that are. What about asking a family member. That's what I did it's my family 3 of my daughters and my sister. And on his side the same thing 2 step son a nephew and a family friend who is really close too us. There were some friends but we wanted it be more family. And to share this new journey this about to happen is makes it even more special. So do what feels right to you yes there may be some decisions that will be a little hard. But think of the reason why you have chosen them. Whom ever you choose I hope they accept with there heart and will add to your special day. Good luck and Congratulations to you both
