We had one on our dessert buffet, but I love the look of three! I am a cake designer and I find that anything more than three IMO only is over kill and gaudy.

2 tiers for the cutting cake/ cake we are saving for our 1 year anniversary. Then we will have cupcakes, cookies and a few other desserts.

Probably one. We aren't making a big deal out of the cake cutting, just the 2 of us and the photographer, so we don't need something crazy. Everyone else will be getting cupcakes.

We are doing a 2 tier tall round cake. These are the only cakes I really like, and if we’d had too many guests for one, I was just not going to have cake at all.

Our "elopement" package with our ceremony venue only offers a 1 tier cake. Makes sense since there won't be many people.

4! Having a tall cake was important to me! FH's groom's cake will be 3 tiers. We'll, also, have a chocolate sheet cake in the back. We have 220 people coming to the wedding.

Either one of two. It depends on whether we elope, and whether we opt for a cake. Cos I'm thinking chocolate covered strawberries would suit us.
If we do opt for cake, we will make it ourselves, as we enjoy baking together.
