How many candles/vases/votives on a tablescape?

I’m trying to decide how many small decor pieces I need to get for my long farmhouse tables (seating 8). I have two separate tablescapes. One will have assorted sizes and styles of small vases with flower stems and the other will have greenery garland with scattered flowers and candle sticks (it’s a woodland boho them). I know for larger pieces like the geometric terrariums it’s generally 3, but what about smaller pieces?

There is no prescribed number other than keeping it an odd number.
Do a trial at home and see what you prefer.

I agree with odd number. I would do a trial run to give you a visual of how things will look

Odd numbers of anything are easier on the eye. Even numbers can give a rigid look.
