How many carats is your engagement ring?

You can always get an upgrade whenever. Appreciate what he got...it was from his heart and maybe he was tussling with the idea of money but!!!!!! He wants to marry you!!!!

My ring is a set. As a set it is .50. Individually I think it’s .25.

Mine is 3/8 cw, I honestly didn't care about that. We went into the jewelry store and we was like let me know what style you like. Don't look at price or anything like that. I tried on a few and they were just to big and flashy(nothing wrong with that just not my taste). I tried on a few solitaire rings and loved those, but wasn't feeling it. We were about to leave and Inwas like oh I never looked over here, so we walked up to the ring case and there were a few I tried on. Up in the corner kinda tucked away I saw a ring that grabbed my attention. It was sparkly, pretty and simple. I asked to see that one and didn't want to take it off.

I think it comes down to how it looks on you. On your finger and if you love it, it doesn’t matter what the weight of it is. It’s personal preference. After you are married people aren’t going to walk up to you and just ask what weight your diamond is. They will just see you are married and happy!

I think that it would be good to remind him how much you love the ring because, in all honesty, your ring is very pretty and it looks great on your hand! You have to go with what you’re comfortable wearing and what you love, you know? I personally didn’t want anything larger than .5 carat, but my FH said it wouldn’t sit right in the setting and needed to be at least .75. I picked out my own ring. We both knew we were definitely going to get married. He asked me if I wanted a surprise or if I wanted to pick my own ring so I obviously chose to pick my own. We decided to go to a pawn shop. We would have never been able to afford a 1.5 carat diamond ring brand new at a jewelry store. So we decided to try a pawn shop and it was a great idea!! I love my ring!! It was only $750 i think, brand new it would have been way more. Anyway, 1.5 carats is mine. But no matter what the carat amount is it's the symbolism of the ring that matters!! I'm clearly in love with mine. He designed it himself. I believe the Sapphire is equivalent to 2 carats so 9mm oval and the diamonds are 1 & 3/4 carats. I think all rings are unique and fits to you and your personality. I love seeing everyone's rings on here! How exciting!

I honestly think mine is like .38 carats, and it's perfect! I think any bigger would look weird on my hand

.46 round brilliant cut diamond and about 3/4 carat including all side stones. It’ll be about a carat with the matching wedding band. I love my set.

Mine is a little over 1ct. I know because I added it onto my insurance and so it needed an appraisal lol. I would have been absolutely ecstatic with any size, but the diamond is a family heirloom and his mom gave it to us.

Mine center stone is between .5 and .75 the stones in my engagement band is about another .75. And another .75 in my wedding band. I love my ring and he took so much time to pick the stone and band. He often wishes he would have gone bigger also. I think it’s perfect. He did splurge for a near perfect center stone because that was important to him.

mine is a half carrot and i’m perfectly fine with that bc it’s pretty! Idc about the carrot honestly. The band is 1/4 carrot so total is less than 1 carrot and I love it! You can always upgrade later that’s what we plan on doing down the road. The second pic is our rings together with my band.

Started seeing a dermatologist and put on some meds and stuff to treat allergies and skin infections etc. I was finally able to put my black and white diamond back on my finger a couple weeks ago with no reactions again. Wedding band cost us $289. Ering was $4900 but caught them on sale and walked out with it for closer to $2900, that included the black diamond anniversary band that we had soldered to the Ering for our 13th anniversary.
