How many DIY projects are on your plate?

2 or 3 right now. Centerpieces, welcome & social media signs, and bridal party gifts. With only 50 days left, I’m starting to get nervous lol

Many but I can't seem to kick it into high gear to do.

We are DIYing just about everything from stationary, to the cake, to food, to centerpieces and signs, to table numbers, to favors, etc. We have lots to do and what I think (and hope) will be plenty of time to do it! Just for fun, here are the invitations that I DIYed from my phone on a photo editing app.

2 things so far! Guest book and centerpieces.

My MOH is DIYing a cool wine cork display piece that I will assist her with, but her project. and my FMIL is doing all of our cupcakes and cake. I don't really have plans to DIY anything else, but who knows!

Centerpieces, several signs, decor, an arbor...

So far, our centerpieces, which entail spray painting vases with glitter gold paint, and making flowers out of maps to put in the vases.

I also spray painted candle holders to line the aisle for our ceremony.

I will be making bouquets and boutonnieres as well!

Nothing lol

My fiancé and FFIL are carpenters so they’re going to be building our centerpieces and cake stand! 😂 I’m not sure if I’m making all of the signs or not yet.

I actually haven't done anything DIY. I'm too nervous that I will mess something up lol

View Quoted Comment Thank you! It took a handful of us to do all of my signs. I went to AR Workshop and they had all the materials to use. They also help guide you along. But I was able to nail all the wood together and stain it and paint it white and then they had a stencil of the wording and I got to pick out the colors of the writing. It was so much fun!

View Quoted Comment For printing the invites I used Cards and Pockets. And all the signs I’m printing using Zazzle. Oh the templates for my photo booth props I bought on Etsy.

My biggest DIY’s will be my florals and wedding cake. I do cakes as a side hussle so it’s nit new to me but I know will still stress me and I did a trial run on some flower table runners the other day. We’ll see!

I have done a fair amount of DIY, but most of it was so simple it kind of barely counts as DIY 😂 like, I made all the little table signs, but those were literally just chalkboards that I wrote on with my normal handwriting, and our centerpieces are DIY technically, but they’re just candles and rose petals, haha! The most labor intensive DIYs were my floral garland for the venue, my welcome and unplugged ceremony signs, the bridesmaids bouquets, and my Lego escort cards, which I finally just finished like two days ago!

I’m definitely going to DIY just about every little detail of my wedding. I created my own Save-The-Dates and will create just about everything else for decorations for my wedding since it is a unique superhero theme.
