100% ! To be honest if I would have tried on any more I would have been so overwhelmed. The more you try on the more difficult you are making it on yourself! Find a style/fabric that works with your body type and go with it! Going back and forth with different styles and fabrics will most definitely complicate things.

Just 1. I knew what type of dress I wanted so I new idea I found it to get it!

I went to like 7 different shop. Found my dress at the last one I went to.

View Quoted Comment I did end up picking the style of dress I thought I'd liked (mermaid). But I did try on other styles just to see what I actually liked. To my surprise I liked other styles as well but in the end the mermaid style won.

Only 2!! So glad... because I did not want to be stressed out about finding such an important item!

Two! I tried on 4 or 5 at the first shop and fell in love with one there. I had another appointment for David's Bridal right afterwards so I left without buying it, fully intending to return for that dress. However, I tried on some dresses that I had saved on the David's Bridal website and the 2nd one I tried on, I started crying. I said outloud "I can see myself marrying him in this" and I couldn't remember what the other dress looked like. I tried on 2 more afterwards but went back to the other dress one more time and I was sold. I said YES to the dress and rang the bell, happily lol.

View Quoted Comment I have and I haven't 😬 I bought my dress almost two years ago (my original wedding date was July 2020), though when it came in, I didn't like it as much, and alterations to make it into something I'd be happy with would cost as much as a new dress. Since we postponed to 2022 due to COVID, I've been looking for a new dress that fits more of my style and what I'm looking for. So, I'm still looking for a dress, though I do have one in case I can't find another one that I like!

It was a completely different shop. They were amazing. They asked me to send photos of what I liked prior to my appointment. We looked at my Pinterest inspo and shopped from those, added a few different styles and that was that. She even took a dress off a mannequin I didn't see because she thought it might be better than "the one." If anyone lives in PA, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
