How many dresses did you try on before you found the one?

I’m total i went to a total of 5 different stores and fell in love with my dress at the last store. I tried on about 5-6 dresses in each store!

I tried on about 20 different dresses. I tried on a few 3 times each. I knew that I wanted a black wedding dress and the options were very limited. I found my dream wedding dress the first day but could not commit to it at first.

I’m a very picky person so I thought I needed to make all these appointments for different dress stores. I hadn’t even tried anything yet before I went to a bridal show. I saw a dress at a bridal fashion show and fell in love with it! Made an appointment with the designer and she took it out as my first dress! I tried on two more dresses after that one just to be sure but I wanted my first dress! So I guess one was the magic number for me!

I was very curious for my wedding dress and I tried around 5-7 stores in London but I was not fully satisfied with the dresses. It is my big day and how can a bride say yes to any of the dress which she even didn't find good for her. I want to look the best, so I was in the hustle for finding a dress which suites me best. So when my husband see me in the wedding attire he should remain shocked. Then one of my friend suggested me about P.S.Online Styling . I was very nervous for it because it was going to be the 8th store and I was getting disappointed now. Then my friend told me told me they make customized dresses and even I can have an appointment with them over the call too. Then I did the same and today I am having my perfect dress which suits me best. Now my wedding is in August and I will share my wedding pictures too.

I tried about 25 dresses. I live near New York City with vlots of bridal salons. I actually loved the 1st dress I tried on which was at David's. But, it was strapless & I did not want strapless so I tried Kleinfeld's. It was at my 2nd appointment that i found my dress, which ended up being strapless anyhow, cause i loved it. Lol. I got the opposite of what I imagined myself in. I got the strapless, low cut sweetheart neckline. Material tulle with embroidered applicays alot of detail. Lots of sparkle. I wore my dress when i had my covid-person-outdoor-microwedding with zoom almost 2 yrs ago. Now that my 2x postponed original reception is coming up in June, I'm having the kleinfeld taylor add straps!!!! They maybe just speghetti straps. However, i really dobt want to worry about the dress slipping down a little as it does not look good. Im a busty person & the dresses material & layers still makes it heavy enough to slip down an inch. With built in interior corset no one can see, it is very tight & well tailored, but some of us still want those straps as security!!!!

0! I wasn’t even engaged yet, and I’d been designing my own dress for whenever that day happened. Then, I happened to see one on Modcloth that looked so similar to what I wanted, I knew that was the dress. I ordered it one size above what I wore then, got it with coupons and a gift card, and had it for 2 years before the proposal 😂. 4 years and a pandemic later, I’m glad I ordered it 1 size up!

This is my second time around , and i had the big princess dress the first time so i really wanted something more slim and mature this time. Ha! I went to a bridal outlet the first time just to look, Halloween last year, tried on like 6 dresses and they all looked horrible. Decided then and there I needed to lose weight. Then I went shopping again in December to two stores on the same day, down about 8 pounds at that point, but still those slimmer dresses didn’t look good. I ended up with a tiered ruffle sort of ball gown-y dress! Nothing like all of the pics I pinned! I ordered it in the sample size 12, which was a bit tight in the waist, but I have since lost another 12 pounds, so now done a total of 20. The back is very open though so I really need to lose another 5-10! I am going today to try on the sample again just to see how it fits now! The pic is the day I bought it. I hope I’m not too old for this style. But my whole entourage loved it.

I went to ONE store and in 3 hours I said yes to the dress. But maybe, I wanted only the champagne. I am happy about my dress, BUT for me the shoes are most important ahah!

I think the store strategy was nice. I said via email which style I liked, then she tried to match my choices + body shape and she did the miracle. I am happy !

I went to David's Bridal and tried on 15 - hated them all! Then I order and mailed back 3 from Azzie. Then I went onto poshmark and found a dress, new with tags. Paid $70. It was perfect! Literally, no alterations are needed. Gown was originally $850, is a David's Bridal that is no longer being made.

I kept trying on "the same" dress in three different stores. I picked the perfect one ay New York Bride and Groom in Charlotte NC. They are more pricey but my perfect dress was there! I already did my first fitting and I'm super excited! I tried on about 20 dresses more or less and honestly didn't want ti go to anymore stores. I decided to pick the best so far and focus!! I love my dress.

I've tried on around 30. I started pretty sure about what I wanted, and now I have no idea. I'm usually very decisive so not knowing what I want is very new to me.

I tried on 4 dresses until I found the one. It was the 3rd dress I tried on and I felt like myself in it but also felt comfortable and gorgeous in it. I went to David's Bridal for my wedding dress, and it was a good experience all around.

According to my stylist at the shop I got my dress from I tried on a total of I think six dresses? Only went to the one shop as well.

I went to two different stores. The first one I tired one on and I liked it. I told them to hold it bc I had another point at another store. Had to pay 50 dollars and if I cancel they would keep the 50. Well I went there tired on a few dresses and found one I really liked. So maybe 7-10 dresses.


P.S. One of them my mother in law and sister in law wanted to see me in a veil. I looked like a child bride 🤦‍♀️ And the dress was itchy !! That dress was a no for me.

Hello! I went to David's bridal first and after 7 dresses...I did love one but decided to wait because that was my first store. I then went to another store tried on maybe 5... had a maybe. I'm not one to keep doing a whole lot and I realized this process wasn't easy. What you think you want and are going to like can and possibly will change. So I researched a little more. I found a place called Jillians Bridal and I went there News Years day... thought it would be crowded but I got there when they opened and I'm glad I did. They let you try on 15 dresses and I picked 12 but tried on a couple more suggestions from staff. Needless to say 2 hours later and 17 dresses I decided and said YES TO THE DRESS!! The staff and owner were amazing... really enjoyed the experience and the price I def can't complain!! If you're in or by Hickory, NC check them out!!
