Right now we have been looking at photographers. A friend of my dad's may take our photos, but not sure for how long. I may end up asking him to take photos at the ceremony and reception only, and I may hire someone else to take photos for an hour or so while I get ready. What is the most important thing you're looking for in a photographer?

I am thinking 8 hours 2 photographers. FH does not want pics of himself getting ready but I wanna do first look so my cocktail hour isn’t wasted with doing pics

Yeah Laura I agree with you. Why do you need all these hours? I mean I know it's special but more than 4 hours I feel like it's a wSte of time. Really!

We will have 8 hours of photography coverage and 2 photographers - contemplating a 9th hour that we will probably decide about at the last minute

Yikes, haven't gotten that far but it'll have to be at least 8 since we're doing a first look and getting as many pictures done before the ceremony as possible.
