How many... months in advance did you book your venue?

5 months, I think, give or take a few weeks. We did the whole thing in less than 8 months.

We booked our venue a year in advance. We booked in October 2019 and our wedding is in October 2020.

Our wedding is in November 2020 and we booked our venue in January 2020, so 10.5 months before our wedding. I was proposed to in December of 2019 and started looking at venues after New Years, and we were able to find a venue a couple of weeks later.

We booked our venue last year in April 2019. We get married May 30th 2021... So we booked 2yrs and 1 mo.

Even though we will have only been engaged for 7-1/2 months by the time we get married, we booked the venue almost 9 months ahead. I don't regret it at all.

We were shooting for a June 2021 wedding but the venue we chose had just booked that wedding, so I let the event coordinator let us know what day was available, and we settled in and put the deposit down for 5/22/2021. I'm so glad we did because for me, the venue is the foundation for the wedding event. Securing the location, now I feel like we can move forward with other details like attire, events around the wedding, reception options, etc.

Hmmm. 16 months out! We saw the venue before we got engaged and my fiance was sold. So sold that I thought he was going to propose right on the spot. When we did get engaged two months later, the venue sent us the paperwork and advised that they needed a deposit within 15 days!!! 👀😞. We thought we could wait but glad we did reserve early!. It's a popular venue and they are already booked for the year aaaaaand, dates for 2021 are already filling up!

July 2019 for August 2020. so 13 months!

We booked our venue 10 months ago! We knew when we wanted to get married and have a lot of exciting events going on and not just our wedding we had to plan around

We're having a short engagement--8 months, so we were engaged August 1st, and I think we had the venue by the end of August for our Easter weekend wedding

We booked our venue in February 2019 for our June 2020 wedding. We loved it and wanted to ensure we had it so we booked as soon as we could.
